The Gucci-funded Chime for Change is a global campaign for girls' and women's empowerment. To celebrate the cause and honor the International Day of the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the organization shared its impact report. In addition to the major success surrounding the Sound of Change Live concert event, Chime for Change has raised $4.4 million to fund over 260 projects in over 80 countries, all to support the rights and safety for women.

Hearst Magazines is the exclusive magazine media partner for Chime for Change and this week's Hack event. Tech experts will convene to create mobile apps aimed at supporting girls and women that connect issue experts and nonprofits around the world. The event will also celebrate women in tech.
