I love summer. However, with every trip to the beach, dip in a chlorine-filled pool, and day of sunbathing (with SPF, of course!), my freshly ombred hair suffers. But this season, I don't have to sacrifice my tresses. Instead of running for cover all summer long, and depriving myself of some of my favorite activities, I turn to these hair saviors.

When it comes to my face, an oily complexion is my main concern. Plagued by acne and well, an embarrassingly shiny forehead, I spent years searching for the perfect oily skin regimen. I've finally found it, and it involves these winning products.

The current buzzword in the skincare industry is "balm." First, there were BB creams (BB stands for Beauty Balm) and now, balm cleansers are taking center stage. Although not new to the market, they are hydrating, soft on skin, and remove every ounce of makeup. These are my favorites.

Each summer, a medley of interns prance into my office. They bring with them fresh ideas and a younger vibe, which I love. But I also see some of them in cotton dresses and gauzy skirts — clothes that may be trendy and cute on campus, but don't translate so well into the corporate world.

I have a confession to make: I am an eyeshadow junkie! Whether it is powder, cream, matte, glitter, or pigment, I've got it in just about every shade. When it comes to experimenting with trends, translating them onto your nails is the best (and probably cheapest) way to get your fashion fix. From polka dots to stripes, there is no limit to nail art. Right now, I'm crazy for color-blocking. Spotted at Phillip Lim, Elie Saab, and Diane von Furstenberg, there was no shortage of fun shade combinations on the fall runways.

It might be time to retire those monochromatic shades, and turn to something a bit more bright. Pops of neon are in full effect this summer, from blazing satchels to glowing nails, and we are totally gaga for the trend!
