The Guide to Rainy Day Chic

The Guide to Rainy Day Chic

Spring weather can be unpredictable. One minute, you're sporting a stunning sundress and sandals and the next, you're layering up for stormy weather. With the Ray currently residing in London, and the Ro living in LA, it seems that despite our far-away homes, we continue to share the same weather. London is known for its gloomy days, and for some strange reason, LA is getting much of the wetness on this side of the Atlantic.

Regardless of the forecast, we believe it is important to always look your best, so even when all you want to do is sit inside and eat tomato soup, our job is to keep you stylish while doing it.

Ray's Top Rainy Day Pick: Just because you can't puddle-jump in flashy pumps doesn't mean you have to bring out your gym shoes. I rock fun moto boots in the rain, and tuck my pants into them for a dry and chic statement.

Ro's Top Rainy Day Pick: I hate carrying umbrellas, so I rely on a good hat like the trendy, tan Rag & Bone fedora below.

1. Nasty Gal City Trench Coat, $198 2. Rag & Bone Floppy Brim Fedora in Pecan, $150 3. Cath Kidston Superslim-2 Umbrella, $27 4. Topshop Aztec Border Snood, $36 5. Steve Madden Troopa Boots, $100 6. Rebecca Minkoff Whipstitch M.A.C Clutch, $330

Best friends and blogging partners Roberta Oglakchya and Rachel Hurn-Maloney founded The Ray and the Ro to show off stylish looks, share their wishlists, and break down runway fashion.
