Q: What's the best thing to wear under strapless dresses and tank tops? I've heard of those adhesive bras, but I am apprehensive about wearing one for fear that heat, humidity and my body sweat might make it lose its adhesion. Help!

A: Try a convertible bra, which has straps that you can wear conventionally or crisscrossed around your body to stay put yet hidden under your garments. Also, the adhesive bras do work, even in humidity and amid body sweat. Just be sure to peel them off like a Band-Aid, slowly and carefully.
