Q: I know that the jean jacket is very big this season, but it seems that darker denim is a little more modern. Is the lightest shade of denim just as in?

You're right, denim is a major trend for spring. It came down all of the runways in various forms, from skirts to evening dresses, handbags to boots. It was dressed up with beading and studs as well.
Denim should be worn dark this season -- but don't throw away your light denim, because fashion is cyclical.
