Naughty Hot Chocolate Is the Only Hot Chocolate You Should Be Drinking

Cheers.

I don't totally trust people who don't like boozy hot chocolate (unless, of course, you choose not to imbibe, in which case, more power to ya). But for the rest of us boozehounds, it doesn't get much better than sipping warm hot chocolate with a little bourbon, vodka, or rum...until you're almost done with the first mug and aren't sure you can stomach another. Let's face it: Hot chocolate is rich AF. Instead of simply spiking it, we've created a cocktail that's shaken with ice, so you can throw back as many as you damn please.

Naughty Hot Chocolate is the perfect cocktail for a holiday, cookie decorating, or NYE party, but it's also a super-simple way to jazz up spiked hot cocoa for a night on the couch. (Who doesn't want a jumbo toasted marshmallow floating in their glass?!) You warm some milk on the stove or in microwave, stir in a hot cocoa packet, then pour that mixture into a cocktail shaker. Add vodka, chocolate liqueur (very easy to find at liquor stores), and ice and shake it up. Pour into glasses and top with a jumbo toasted marshmallow. It's a rich—but not too heavy—chocolatey treat that will also make you feel super-festive. For proper amounts, check out the Naughty Hot Chocolate recipe.
