While the made-up holiday is officially today, February 22, plenty of national chains have been offering deals on the tequila cocktail as early as yesterday. Here's where you can score cheap and delicious drinks—and toast to saving some serious cash.

Even though  Jimmy Buffet celebrates "Margarita Monday" at his restaurants every week, this drinking holiday means there will be special, $2.22 house margaritas on Monday, Feb. 22.

Glug down $2 margs at this Mexi-Cali chain all day today. Unfortunately, only select Chevys locations will be participating, so call ahead to make sure you can take advantage of the deal.

Since Friday, Feb. 19, Margaritas restaurants have been celebrating National Margarita Day Weekend with $5 margaritas the entire time. Plus there's be prizes and giveaways like margarita mixes and gift cards.

You'll only have to spend two bucks on this Mexican chain's standard 12-ounce margaritas. And the deal lasts all day and night!

Yesterday, Tony Roma's namesake "Classic Romarita" (a.k.a. the house margarita) was discounted to $4 at participating locations. If you go today, the price drops to $2.22. Score!

Of course, if you'd rather stay in, then you need to shake up these mini margs and toss a few back in celebration of the best (and most dangerous?) made-up holiday of all time. Cheers!
