A: A moisturizer with SPF 30 is enough for everyday protection, but you need to use a few pumps (about a teaspoon) on your face to ensure you're getting SPF 30 coverage. And that's if you're just getting incidental sun throughout the daywalking to the subway or car, grabbing the mail, etc. If you're sweating or outdoors for a couple of hours, you should be wearing a water-resistant sunblock (minimum SPF 15) and reapplying it every couple of hours, or after you've gotten wet (I like Coppertone Nutra-Shield Faces SPF 70+ with Dual Defense, $10.99).
