Q: I recently had a baby and was left with red stretch marks on my stomach. Is there an effective product available that will remove or at least reduce the appearance?
A: Your skin's ability to bounce back depends on a number of things, like genetics and how much your skin actually stretched during your pregnancy. Basically, no product will make stretch marks disappear completely, but you can make them less noticeable with heavy-duty moisturizers and treatments. Belli Stretchmark Minimzing Cream, $52, has gotten rave reviews from my new-mom friends and is safe to use while you're nursing. When you're done nursing, you may want to switch to something more potent like Stivectin, $150, if you haven't seen enough improvement.
