Q: What's the best way to apply foundation? Concealer?

A: "Fingers are the new brushes," says Max Factor movie makeup artist Ronnie Specter. They're practically goof-proof to use! Also the heat from your hands melts the foundation slightly, rendering it easier to spread. Smooth the color all over your face, including your eyelids, and extending it to the base of your neck so you don't look two-toned. Then, continue applying the rest of your makeup (lip and eye). Apply concealer last, to cover up any errant eye makeup and, of course, blemishes and areas of discoloration.
