So much for New York City being so big that you can dwell in anonymity. Last weekend, I dashed out to my local nail salon for an emergency pedicure and promptly bumped into Marie Claire's fashion director, Tracy Taylor. Though I was hoping to keep my favorite new nail color, Creative Nail Design's Fedora, on the down low, Tracy was eyeing it so longingly that I handed over the bottle. Come Monday, the whole office was sporting it. I guess the word's out now.
