MY, WHAT BIG HAIR YOU HAVE
Regardless of your natural hair type, start creating volume in the shower with a volumizing shampoo and conditioner, says Kevin Mancuso, who styled the hair here. Next, spritz volumizer at your roots and "rough dry" your hair by blowing it around while tousling it with your fingers. Just before it's dry, smooth the ends with an oval brush (round brushes can actually pull hair too straight), says Mancuso. For even bigger body, while hair is still warm from blowdrying, slide in a few large Velcro rollers and allow them to cool in hair before undoing. Or, use a curling iron to generate waves--the smaller the barrel, the curlier the hair. Used on model: Matrix Amplify Volumizing System, Kiehl's Stylist Series Super Thick Volumizer, and Y.S. Park oval brush.
