*Wash your hair less often (every three days is ideal). The secret is to give yourself a good blowout that lasts. And when you do wash, stick to bodybuilding cleansers, like John Frieda Sheer Blonde Shampoos.
*Avoid thin, stripey highlights. "They look homemade, like you pulled your hair through a cap." Also avoid "cuts that are big on the sides--they're frumpy." Layers are the key to keeping your cut streamlined.
