For easy enlargement, choose shadows that make your eye color pop--think tone-on-tone or contrasting--and avoid going too dark or smoky, says Carolina Gonzalez, the makeup artist who created the looks here. Apply shadow with a subtle touch, up to but not covering your browbone. More of a makeup novice? Gonzalez recommends using a soft eyeliner pencil instead of shadow near your lashline, then smudging it with a Q-Tip. And last but not least, emphasize your lashes; whether they're real or fake, curl them, then swipe mascara onto uppers and lowers.
