WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT PORTLAND
Stumptown Coffee. Powell's City of Books—the country's largest independent bookstore. Indie darlings the Dandy Warhols, Everclear, and the late Elliott Smith. Twilight was filmed here (cue screaming tweens). More microbreweries per capita than any other U.S. city. Was almost called "Boston." Mt. Hood is an hour away. Rose gardens galore. Forest Park—seven square miles of urban green space. From Patagonia to plaid, all-weather style staples that are comfy, too.
