It's not just your grandmother who needs to worry about healthy bones. According to the International Osteoporosis Foundation, women of all ages need to be concerned about calcium consumption.

World Osteoporosis Day is coming up on October 20th and the
IOF
wants you to know a healthy lifestyle is a great way to avoid developing osteoporosis later in life.

One of the easiest ways to avoid osteoporosis is to ensure you're getting enough calcium: the IOF suggests at least 1000mg a day for women over 19. Also important is regularly performing weight-bearing exercises. We can't think of a better excuse to indulge in a delicious dairy treat. We'll work it off doing reps later!
