Who Will Get Fat First?

"I do try to eat healthfully, but I'm not into deprivation."
--Tami, 32, marketing rep/plus-size model
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 225
Dress size: 18
Eating style: Tami eats what she likes -- in moderation -- and she's pleased with her figure. "I don't want to be skinny. I feel sexy as I am."
Breakfast: Applesauce or an English muffin with jelly, coffee with 1 percent milk.
Lunch: Salad topped with chicken and light dressing.
Dinner: Steamed carrots or broccoli with plain baked chicken, or -- if she's pressed for time -- a bowl of cereal.
Vices: "I reach for fast-food chili or pizza when I don't have time to cook."
Exercise: Skating, yoga or ballet three times a week.
Why the expert gave a one-star rating: "Tami has a great mindset about food," says Bauer. "She tries as hard as she can to eat healthfully, and by allowing some 'vices,' she prevents all-out binges. As a result, her weight should remain fairly steady as she ages."
Diet fix: Tami's breakfast needs help, because it's full of empty calories, says Bauer. "She should switch to a whole-wheat English muffin for fiber, topping it with two teaspoons of peanut butter or low-fat cheese. The protein from either will keep her feeling fuller, so she's less likely to look to her vices, all quick-fix foods."
