Rock and Dance Workout Music

Awhile back, I created an online workout music database--which I use to gauge all of the songs that I write about here. I've got my hunches. But I'd like to be able to give you something more substantial than just my personal theories on what's great. To that end, I post loads of songs there--virtually every single that's released. And it's always interesting to get feedback--particularly when folks hate something I thought they'd love. Or vice-versa.

And I have never been further from the mark than I was this month.

Almost none of the songs that did well with folks were ones I'd expected.

There is a slow-boiling track by Metric. It's brilliant, but I thought it might be too slow. And Booty Luv have a textbook UK dance hit--in the best sense. But, there's also a load of angsty, dude rock that I can't imagine taking to the gym.

Nevertheless, there were lots of folks who said they would do precisely that.

So, here's the full list of what folks loved--my suspicions be damned!
