THE SITUATION: A BIG MEETING.

Typically the most persuasive and influential people in the office are the most “open” in terms of body language—uncrossed legs and arms open with palms exposed. When interacting with colleagues or presenting your ideas, focus on how you’re sitting and where you rest your arms. \r\n

THE SITUATION: MEETING A POTENTIAL NEW CUSTOMER.

But plant the seed early by leaning in to listen when she speaks, especially when you’re both seated. Don’t overdo it. THE SITUATION: PITCHING A NEW IDEA.
