Watch Megyn Kelly and Newt Gingrich Battle It Out After He Blows Up at Her on Live TV

The former Speaker of the House accused Kelly of being "fascinated by sex."

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich lashed out at Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly on Tuesday night after The Kelly File host brought up the recent sexual assault allegations made against Donald Trump.

In particular, Gingrich—who has been an adviser and outspoken supporter of Trump throughout his campaign—took issue with Kelly defending the media's coverage of both the allegations and a 2005 hot mic video of Trump bragging about sexual assault. When Kelly began to respond by arguing that "if Donald Trump is a sexual predator," voters have the right to know, the former Speaker of the House became outraged.

"I'm sick and tired of people like you using language that's inflammatory, that's not true," Gingrich said. "I think that is exactly the bias people are upset by."

Visibly stunned over his sudden rage, Kelly calmly responded by pointing out she has no opinion on the matter while Gingrich continued to interrupt her.

"I think your defensiveness over this may speak volumes, sir," she responded.

The two then went back and forth before Gingrich again accused her of being biased, claiming that her show gave more coverage to the Trump accusations than to controversial revelations about Hillary Clinton from the Podesta Emails.

"You want to go back through the tapes of your show recently?," he said. "You are fascinated with sex and you don't care about public policy. And that's what I get out of watching you tonight."

"You know what, Mr. Speaker? I am not fascinated by sex, but I am fascinated by the protection of women and understanding what we're getting in the Oval Office," she responded.

Soon after, Kelly put the nail in the coffin by cutting the interview short.

"You can take your anger issues and spend some time working on them, Mr. Speaker. Thanks for being here," she concluded.
