UNFPA Student Award Winner Goes to Capitol Hill

Nicole Paprocki, a United Nations Population Fund student award winner and a former MarieClaire.com guest blogger who wrote about her eye-opening trip to Bangladesh last year, went to Capitol Hill on March 8 for International Women's Day. Nicole and other supporters of UNFPA, a nonprofit that advocates on behalf of the United Nations for women's health and rights in more than 150 countries, got face time with members of Congress and their staff to lobby for women's issues, such as reproductive rights. To learn more about Nicole's newest appeal to help women, read about it at Congress.org.
