According to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll released on Thursday, Hillary Clinton is dominating as the Democratic frontrunner for the 2016 primary election. And we not saying "dominating" lightly—she currently holds a 6:1 lead over any other hypothetical candidates with 73 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents. The poll also showed that 58 percent of registered voters view Clinton favorably.
The results will only further propel the current narrative surrounding Clinton's undeniable power leading into the next presidential election, which was the topic of last week's New York Times Magazine cover story and Time's cover story the week before.
As the Washington Post reported, Clinton's lead is nearly 3 times larger than it was in 2006, when she was also considered the anticipated Democratic Party nominee. Clinton has not yet announced her plans for 2016, since you know, we're only one month into 2014. But things are looking pretty good for her.
