Do you worry that you'll never find love — that you're getting too old for romance or that you're "aging out" of marriage?
A Californian couple will hopefully help to restore your faith: He was 100 and she was 90 when they tied the knot in March. Of course, they'd been dating for longer than some of us have been alive: They met nearly 30 years ago, in 1983, at a senior center dance. Why did they wait so long to get married? Rose Pollard, who had been married before, didn't want to rush into anything. When she did finally agree to be Forrest Lunsway's wife, he asked her to name the date — and she chose March 19, his 100th birthday. (Yep, Lunsway was born in 1911.)
Rose's thoughts about how to create enduring love? As she told The Daily, "Be forgiving and patient and say I love you, I guess, every once in a while."
