When Pops tears up during his speech..."You may kiss the bride"...fondant icing...flower girls...the mother/son dance...passed appetizers...open bar...wearing costume jewelry...meeting new people...a slideshow (look, her old nose)...food stations...the after-party...borrowing a hot groomsman's tux jacket...The groom’s expression when he sees the bride for the first time… The start of the “Wedding March” on strings… watching the bride’s mom help adjust her veil… when the ring bearer gets sidetracked by people he knows on his way down the aisle… rose petals… the father/daughter dance… centerpieces… buttercream icing… an excuse to buy a new dress… the hilariously cringe-worthy, anecdote-packed best friend’s toast (zing!)… pretty placecards and placesettings… bottomless champers… hope… slow dancing… the excuse for ridiculous line dancing… the hoopa… twinkling lights!… the designated driver wedding shuttle… trotting out the grandparents… the couples first dance… that one conservative looking guest that suddenly busts a move and does The Worm, The Lawnmower, The Canoe and The Lasso during “Sexyback”… ornately decorated tents…the after after-party.
