Hey, it's Vanessa Carlton and you're watching Marie Claire.com.
Love comes back around again, it's a carousel, my friend.
I've recorded this record which is my 4th record called Rabbits on the Run. About an hour outside of London, a little town called Bucks. I felt like we are in another dimension and what are we are doing in it, is we get role analog and there's a children's choir in it. Watership Down by Richard Adams, an English author and Stephen Hawking's, A Brief History of Time. Those 2 books got me over the hump of my writers block and then got me through to the end, can't really fed a nurse the process of making the records. I'm excellent in picking grapes. The really-- the key is that you touch the top of the bunch and they have to be firm, it's very important, if grapes are a little bit softer, disgusting. Putting on my [unknown] tea, making sure that's on and wants to go soft boil that I can put on low and now I can walk Victor.
And Victor is a dog, I just wanted people to know that.
I listened to a rain thing on my iPod, it's that the nature sounds serious and I put on a rainstorm. Looks like a charm.
Compassion? Well, there's chocolate and actually my friend of which, she makes it the most decanted, delicious, interesting combination of taste. It's more of a crush on its character, thought I have a crush on neither a girl. I've never said that before but that's true. Thoughtful? One is the new version of the other, kind of, and Justine Timberlake, it's like he evolved into something else. I just saw that Never Say Never in a hotel room the other night and [unknown] traumatized me, I think he is adorable and it was very traumatizing to watch him.
Heels.
Sound check.
