Hi. My name is Marco. I wanna show you a breathing technique. Now, stress is something that we all experience. However, how we cope with stress varies from person to person. Stress has been linked to obesity and numerous diseases. So, anytime you're feeling overwhelmed, I want you to do this breathing technique. Have a seat in a chair. I want you to sit up tall, spine nice and straight, chin up, shoulders back and down. Now I want you to take one hand and place it on your stomach. Now what I want you to do is inhale and feel the air fill up your stomach all the way. Now hold and exhale and feel that air deflate out of your stomach. Good. Let's do that again. Inhale, four, three, two, one, hold and exhale. Eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. Now when you exhale, I want you to imagine the air of your body and your shoulders. Some people hold it in their back. Some people hold it in their jaw, forehead. Picture that area, releasing the stress similar to letting the air out of a tire. So here we go. Inhale, four, three, two, one, hold, exhale, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. Again, one more time. Inhale, four, three, two, one, hold and exhale, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one. Good. So the next time you're stressed out at work or stuck in traffic, I want you to try this breathing technique and I'd bet it'll make a difference.
