Elle on Day 6 of Fashion Week
Transcript
Hi, everyone. I'm Elle Fowler, wrapping up the end of Day 6 of Fashion Week. Today, I went to 3 different types of shows. I first went to Nanette Lepore which was just a basic runway show at the tents and then, we ran down to the plaza for the Douglas Hannant show which was so, so cute. It was candy-themed and there were little gift bags with all sorts of candies in it. And all the clothes were candy shades of pink, and green, and yellow, and they had lots of embellishments on it. It was very, very cute. Then, we ran back to the tents for the Adrienne Vittadini presentation. So, that was the 3rd type of show. And basically, that's just where you walk around and they either have mannequins or live models, and this one, they had mannequins just showing off all of the clothes, and it's kind of a little party. You just walk in and you can go up to the clothes and take a look at everything. Blair and I are actually getting really, really good at running around the city in high heels because we did it all the way from the tents to the plaza back in heels and it was crazy. And then, we went out to dinner and we wore our heels. Yeah. My heels actually were brand new when I got here and they've already broken on the inside, like the sole is getting ripped up. That's how much we're walking. One trend that I'm seeing on a lot of the runways this season is mixing black with chocolate brown which are not 2 colors that I would typically put together but a lot of designers have used those colors together in dresses or outfits, and it looks really, really good. So, that's something that I'm definitely gonna be looking for with people's street style to see if that translates over into the everyday person. Tomorrow is our last day of Fashion Week. We're gonna be really sad when it's over but stay tuned to marieclaire.com for more Fashion Week coverage. Bye.
