I'm Zanna Roberts Rassi and I am exhausted at the end of New York Fashion Week. Fashion Week in New York is 7 days long, then, literally we get on the plane that night and fly to London and then straight to Milan and then straight to Paris. So, the fashion that we will see will actually be in stores around August, September. Early predictions for fall would be color being a big one. Color was all over the runway from Prabal, Gurung to Altuzarra. This is just mainly reds and oranges coming through. It's the [unknown] of what we saw last fall and it's really cheering the front row up. There is no doubt about it. This season is luxurious. This fur, this suede, beautiful bouquets, very, very decadent. We think the placement quite interesting. It's either on sleeves. It's either on the back panels or front panels, from the bottom of skirt. The most standout silhouette was Marc Jacobs which was this very tight, beautiful body-con silhouette, very, very restricting, stunning but definitely needs the biggest to wear it. Lengths are anything but mini. We have the maxi. We have the midi. It's all about the long lengths. So, expect to be tripping over a lot next season. It's real nice to see some really bright, vibrant, fun prints. Suno was one of my favorites. They mix the prints together but they keep them in the same family, really cute but still very sophisticated.
As soon as we get back from Paris, we start shooting for the magazine and that will be the close that you can mingle out and buy.
