Front Row College Challenge Internship Video Video

Hi. My name is Tia. I won the first ever Marie Claire [unknown] challenge. And now, I??m here in New York City for internship with Marie Claire, Loft and [unknown]. My first internship, [unknown] College, was in fashion and beauty which was completely different than what I've been studying for the past 4 years. There's always something new that I learn every single day and it's been really exciting and challenging. Of course, I was really nervous on my first day especially about my outfit because it's Marie Claire. What I'm gonna wear? I have a fashion blog called In Her Stilettos. I was inspired to start my blog because I'm always been both analytical and creative. When I started chemical engineering, I still needed some sort of creative outlet. And also, just because I was an engineering, that doesn't mean that I wanna wear jeans and then t-shirt every single day. And I thought like there were other girls who might think the same way. My most difficult task on the magazine has been trying to write a script for a video campaign. I'm never taken any creative writing courses before and English is not my first language. I love that Marie Claire doesn't just provide a lot of great fashion and beauty tips. But they also have really great articles featuring amazing woman doing really important jobs and a lot of different professions. And that always inspires me to work harder at what I want.
