Get the Look: Perfect Eyebrows Video
Follow these steps to create perfect brows at home.
Eyebrows can drastically change your face. They can be big and dramatic, or slim and elegant. But there is no question, they need to be groomed. We're going to show you how you can shape your brows at home. Here's how to get the look. Here is what we'll need: an eyebrow brush, eyebrow scissors, sharp tweezers (we like slanted edge tweezers), a brow pencil, and an eyebrow gel. The first thing we want to do is brush eyebrows upward and trim the hairs. Now, for the hardest part: shaping your brows. For an even look, make sure the space between your eyebrows is equal to the width of your eye. The eyebrow should start directly above your nostril. Then, hold the pencil diagonally extending it from the nostril to the end of your eye. That's where your eyebrow should end. Next, figure out where the highest part of the arch should be. Extend the pencil from your nostril to the outside edge of your iris. If you want, use a light colored pencil to trace a line. This will help you as you pluck. Base on these link and shape guidelines, begin tweezing. Be careful not to over tweeze. To fill in any sparse areas of your brow, use a brow powder in a shade closest to your hair color. Use a stiff brush to fill in the area and even extend the brow if necessary. Fill in any gaps with a light taupe or blunt pencil, then cover with brow powder. This will ensure that the brow powder will stay put throughout the day. Apply clear mascara to hold them in place. Great brows can make or break any look. Find a shape that fits your face.
