How to Survive Fashion Week Video

And it's the first day of fashion week so we're gonna go and check it out.

So what's your fashion week advice?

See many shows if possible and I'm Jessica Parks. Look fabulous, meet fabulous people, have a fabulous time.

Hey everyone. I'm here with Fiona designer from Ports 1961. Where do you envision people wearing your pieces?

Everywhere. I think if you look at the pieces, you could wear it to the office, you could wear it to an event out, we have from day to evening, we have weekends, we have everything. We have a really nice variety.

Do you have any advices for fashion week?

Keep hydrated.

Yes. That is really a good advice. We haven't got that yet. No.

We kind of forget about it and it's really important.

Yeah.

Oh, my gosh we just saw the George Tucker show and it was absolutely amazing.

Can you give us tips for fashion week? What's your number one tip?

Comfortable shoes.

Oh my gosh, I agree.

'Cause there so much walking around and of course everything that's kinda change you [unknown]. O we encourage anybody to have really comfortable shoes.

What is your number one fashion week advice?

Get lots of rest, get lots and lots of rest and be organized. Know where you're gonna go, plot your strategy on how you're gonna get there and avoid all your friends that are calling and saying, 'you know I got a ticket to come with you to fashion week". Avoid them, and when you see them calling up on your cellphone, press Ignore.

Drop their calls.

All the time. Yeah, definitely.

So today was our first day here at fashion week. This day was absolutely amazing. I don't know how it's gonna get any better than this.
