Hi. I'm Holly Perkins and welcome to ExerciseTV and my Leg Makeover Workout. I've got a great mini workout for you today that's gonna transform your legs, making those thighs, hamstrings and gluts look awesome. We've got three movements. First movement, I'm gonna ask you to use the dumbbell, either five, eight or 10 pound-dumbbell, whichever you choose. You're gonna take that dumbbell to your chest, extend overhead. You're gonna hold it here. Draw in through your abdomen and you're gonna step back into a reverse lunge. Step forward and step back. I'll show you one more time. Now, I want you to focus your body weight on that front leg so that you're driving through that front heel and gluts. I want you to complete that exercise for one minute. Second exercise, keep your dumbbell. Open up those feet shoulder distance, toes turned out. Let those knees open so that they follow the toes. You're gonna drop your tailbone straight down with the dumbbell, straight up and just repeat this two-part exercise. Down and up. I want you to complete this for one minute. Last exercise- I want you to go ahead and put that dumbbell down. This is one of my favorites. Feet together and a mini squat. You're gonna balance on one leg, activate through the side of the body. You're gonna extend out for a high sidekick, contracting through those hips. Same thing on the other side. Kick out. Really activate through that hip and gluts, just like that and I want you to repeat. Thirty kicks on each side and repeat all of these exercises two more times for a great leg makeover.
