Hey, everyone. It's Annabel, your correspondent for New York Fashion Week Spring 2009. If you're obsessed with makeup, you have come to the right place. We're taking you backstage and front row to see the best in beauty for spring. Tell me about the trends for spring.
Now, for spring, it's more about [unknown], you know, Kevin Aucoin's girls like with the matte skin, have the eyeliner kind of what you imagine Kate Moss when she just came out in the '90s.
Doing kind of a translucent, black, creamy eye with lots of mascara. And then, I'm doing kind of like just a bronzy cheek with a little bit of a peach lip.
That looks very sexy.
Bronzing isn't so much a trend anymore. It's more about a healthy blush.
More makeup artists are mixing powder bronzer with pink blush and then applying it to the apples of the cheeks.
That's very sexy.
We have a tinted illuminizer that's just this luminous, glowing, fresh skin. And then, on the lips, we have a very sheer, beigy gloss.
The lips are more neutral this year. It's more the color of your lips naturally and then just [unknown] it a little bit with a little bit more pink.
