We Heart Chris March Video

When I was first on Project Runway, the very first episode, I was really nervous. We're watching and I was like, oh, you know, I'm not so bad. On like the seventh episode, they showed a bunch of my portfolio, my costume portfolio and that night, my website got 60,000 hits. I've done so many things since I was [unknown] it's hard to remember them all. I've designed for a lot of celebrities like Prince and Beyonce and, most recently, I guess Meryl Streep. I got this phone call saying that she was interested in me making her a dress for the Golden Globe. Anyway, we met and we talked about what she wanted and I had an idea the night before and I made a guess and I showed it to her and she really liked it. She wore it and she won, so she got to wear it up onstage. A month later, I got the call about making her an Academy Awards dress. She was on like every top panelists that there was. It's still unbelievable to me that it happened. I mean, it's Meryl Streep. My book is titled I Heart Chris March, it's like the coffee table book of photos of the last 25 years of everything that I've designed. I got Tim Gunn to write the foreword to my book. I called him up and he was really busy but he said he would do it, and he wrote the sweetest, sweetest thing, like when he sent it to me, like I cried. When I was on the show, I got literally, and I didn't even believe this. I got like a thousand e-mails from people asking me out on a date. On Valentine's Day, I got an e-mail from a guy with a picture and it was just kinda cute and funny and for some reason, it was the only one out of like a thousand offers but I answered and so we talked and then we met and we've been together ever since.
