Greetings from the Future: Artists to Watch in 2010

There is this ironic phenomenon that many of us music fanatics endure. First, we start with this enthusiasm and pride about knowing of a great band before everybody else does. Then, we vigorously spread the word with a cocky “check this out” posturing. Then, for some reason, we get kind of jealous when that band becomes popular. Well here’s a play list that isn’t going to help matters. From Perry Georgia to Dublin Ireland…here are some artists that you will definitely want to champion in 2010. But don’t get too bitter when they become commercially successful. Remember, you heard it HERE first!

I BLAME COCO / Caesar

TEENAGERS IN TOKYO / End It Tonight

SURFER BLOOD / Swim (to reach the end)

YIKES! A LION! / The Bryan and Eden Song

WASHED OUT / Feel It All Around

JAMES VINCENT MCMORROW / We Don’t Eat

DAVID THOMAS BROUGHTON / Ambiguity

THEOPHILUS LONDON / Want U For Myself

ALI LOVE / Diminishing Returns

OH RUIN / Silver Lining
