Cue the Four Horsemen…
How else to explain the fact of his landing yet another job in the Bush Admin, this time as chairman of a panel that advises the State Department on arms control issues! Remember, this is the guy whose two big moves so far have been:
1. Asserting that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction and should be invaded (advice he offered as Deputy Secretary of Defense).
2. Recommending that his girlfriend at the World Bank, where he was subsequently president, deserved a big, fat raise and promotion.
At his new gig, this is what he’ll be up to:
"The ISAB provides the Department of State with a source of independent insight, advice, and innovation on all aspects of arms control, disarmament, nonproliferation, political-military issues, and international security and related aspects of public diplomacy," the State Department said.
Now we know what we’re doing this weekend: building a bunker.
