That's what polar regions are in the midst of right now — the infamous "midnight sun" period, which in the U.S. only affects towns in northern Alaska, such as the city of Barrow — and Google is helping drive home the point with its handy sunset/sunrise search. If you aren't familiar with this fun feature, try entering "sunset" along with your city and state into the regular Google search box. It's perfect for scheduling cheesy walks on the beach.
But enter "sunset barrow alaska," and you'll get a result insomniacs would shudder at.
Here's hoping the citizens of Barrow have some pretty heavy-duty sleep masks.
