Sue Sylvester Hitched? Congrats to Glee’s Jane Lynch on Her Wedding!

The wonderful Jane Lynch, who portrays our absolute favorite TV villain, evil cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester of Glee, was married on Monday to Dr. Lara Embry, a clinical psychologist. The two lovebirds met at a fundraiser in San Francisco last year, where Embry was an honoree and Lynch was a presenter. They tied the knot at a restaurant in Sunderland, Mass., and Embry’s adorable 8-year-old daughter, Haden, was present at the ceremony and even had a shoutout in Lynch’s vows.

Says the New York Times:
"Dr. Embry said of Ms. Lynch’s remake of Madonna’s 'Vogue' video for an episode of the show, 'She was showing it to Haden, and they would practice it together and laugh and sing — and they still do that. They break out in song and dance spontaneously.'

"Ms. Lynch reports that at Monday’s wedding reception, she and Haden made a point of performing their 'Vogue' moves for everybody. And among the promises that Ms. Lynch made while reciting her vows was 'to be the very best parent I can be,' as well as 'to do my best to get her iCarly tickets' — a pledge that elicited giggles."

We’re sending these newlyweds our best wishes. As Sue says, “I can't wait to start singing and dancing and maybe even putting on the Ritz a little bit.”
