This morning on my walk to the subway, my own personal joke unexpectedly blared through my ear buds courtesy of my iPod’s shuffle setting. Instantly, childishly, I couldn’t stop grinning. Maybe it was yesterday’s trip down Nostalgia Lane with Mr. Rogers and sweater day, but when “The Rainbow Connection” — a song I long forgotten I'd added between my more street-credible faves from the Hold Steady, Metric, LCD Soundsystem — combined with a sunny day, Kermit & Crew made for a perfect morning moment.
