Celebrities have long lent their star power to help further the causes they care about, and Scarlett Johansson is no different. The star is teaming up with the Planned Parenthood Action Fund to release a shirt that promotes education on women's rights and women's health. The tee's release is part of Planned Parenthood's Women Are Watching campaign, which aims to inspire young voters to get educated on women's issues. The shirt's message is a call to politicians to wipe out outdated, sexist laws and make things more fair for women. The pink shirt reads "Hey politicians! The 1950's called...They want their sexism back!", with ScarJo's signature printed on the sleeve.

Johansson released a statement about the important meaning behind her shirt design. "Women are watching, and we will fight for candidates who will ensure that birth control is affordable and who will protect access to safe and legal abortion," Johansson says. "Women will be the key to the elections this November and it's more important than ever that young women register to vote and vote for the candidate that will stand up and fight for them."

Scarlett Johansson is just one of a pack of celebrities designing t-shirts for the women's healthcare giant. Gabrielle Union has already released a shirt, and later this fall, Orange is the New Black stars Natasha Lyonne and Selenis Leyva will release designs as well.
