Blake Lively Has a Dark Brown Pixie Cut in Her New Film 'The Rhythm Section'

It's a blunt, disheveled cut—nothing like her usual look.

  • Blake Lively has both a bowl cut and a pixie crop in the trailer for new film The Rhythm Section.
  • The actress looks totally different without her signature blonde hair.

Not to alarm you or anything, but Blake Lively's long blonde hair is no more. At least, she's temporarily swapped it for both a bowl cut and a dark pixie crop for her role in new film The Rhythm Section.

In the film, Blake plays a woman, called Stephanie, who just discovered that the plane crash that killed her family wasn't actually an accident and there was a bomb on board. Stephanie doesn't know what happened or why, but something is obviously fishy, so she becomes an assassin who takes on lots of different disguises. The result is... kind of shocking, tbh.

    There's also a Jessica Rabbit-style red look:

Not to worry, though—they're just wigs. Although, knowing how Blake transformed into a suit-wearing boss for her promo tour of A Simple Favor, we wouldn't be entirely surprised if she rocks a few different looks on the red carpet when it's time to promote this film.

What a chameleon, huh? Can't wait to see how her husband Ryan Reynolds trolls her this time around.

Oh, and here's that trailer, in case you wanted to see it again:
