On Tuesday, People revealed how sister Kim handled the news at first. According to one source, "Her first reaction was, ‘Seriously?’ She didn’t respond well at first. It’s like she and Kanye had gone on this whole journey to get pregnant for months, and now this happens to Kylie. She teared up. It definitely took a lot of time for her to process it.” Same, Kim. Same! (Except for the tears.)
As previously reported, Kim and Kanye are expecting their third child—a girl—through a surrogate, who is due in January. Of Kylie’s pregnancy, the People source says it was the “last thing” on Kimye’s radar, considering Kylie’s age (20) and the fact that she had only been seeing her baby daddy, rapper Travis Scott, for a few months. But true to Kardashian-Jenner tradition, Kim eventually came around, because #sistersforever. “Of course Kim is happy for Kylie,” says the source. “She’s going to support Kylie 100 percent, no matter what. There’s never been any question about that. But it’s just a weird dynamic, after all that Kim did to intentionally have another child. It has taken a lot of time, energy and money for her to get pregnant, and now Kylie is having a baby around the same time."
That’s right. According to People, Kylie is due in February, which means grandmomager Kris Jenner will become a grandma for the seventh and eighth time before the first buds of spring get to say hello in 2018.
