We've all sent typo texts and accidentally emailed the wrong person, but a major mistake like printing your phone number inside a celebrity cookbook is a next-level whoopsie. In Chrissy Teigen's case, her personal phone number was publicized in her just-released cookbook, Cravings, which fashion and food fans alike have quickly become obsessed with.
But the funny thing is, this wasn't a typo or an accidental printing at the end of her author bio. Nope, the model's digits were spotted by a couple hundred readers with eagle-eyes on Teigen's dog, Pippa, who was photographed wearing a tag engraved with "CALL IF LOST 323-386-1284" on page 111. (And honestly, even when you know it's there, it's still hard to read in the copy we have at the office. Those are some seriously dedicated fans.)
And so Teigen received a few hundred "kind voicemails" throughout the day thereafter. But don't bother trying to drop her a line now; she's since changed her number.
We're not sure exactly why she clarified that only "early purchasers" were gifted with her contact info, unless the flub will be Photoshopped out of the image in later printings.
No matter what, Teigen can't be too upset with herself because the book is on Amazon's bestseller list, second only to Harry-freaking-Potter. You go, girl!
