It's more than a style statement.

In case you haven't heard, Bella Hadid and The Weeknd reportedly ended their relationship after nearly two years of dating. But if anyone has any concerns as to how she's handling her newly single life, fear not. It seems the model is doing just fine on her own—and the tell is in her choice of jewelry.

Pre-breakup, Bella was spotted out in Paris at the end of October sporting a dainty gold necklace with the word 'Abel' in small block lettering. (The Weeknd's real name is Abel Tesfaye.)

Then this week, after news of their split hit the Internet, Bella ditched the the boyfriend chain for one with her own moniker. Bella wore her name around her neck on four separate occasions this week—because she's an I-N-D-E-P-E-N-D-E-N-T woman.

She wore it again on November 9:

Kudos to Bella for embracing self-love after her very public breakup. Now maybe things don't have to be awkward between the exes when they both appear at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in a couple weeks.
