Zoe Saldana isn't a Donald Trump supporter, but she's facing backlash from some liberal fans after her recent comments about the President-elect. Saldana thinks bullying from Hollywood helped Trump pull off his surprising win in November.
"We got cocky and became arrogant and we also became bullies," Saldana told AFP. "We were trying to single out a man for all these things he was doing wrong... and that created empathy in a big group of people in America that felt bad for him and that are believing in his promises."
Saldana's comments didn't sit well with some fans, who took to Twitter to make their feelings known.
Saldana isn't the first celebrity to face backlash for voicing an unpopular opinion about Trump. Fans called for a boycott of Nicole Kidman's movies after she called for Americans to support "who's ever the president." The backlash was so intense that Kidman clarified her comments.
"I was trying to stress that I believe in democracy, and the American constitution. It's that simple," she said, according to People.
