Ellie Goulding is headlining a slew of music festivals this summer and she kicked off her tour de force at Coachella with an amazing set. Taking the main stage last night as the second to last in the lineup, Goulding gave a crowd-pleasing performance filled with all her best hits.
From her dance-friendly electronica-inspired tracks "Burn" and "Anything Could Happen," to the Fifty Shades of Grey favorite "Love Me Like You Do," the set list was seriously lit, inspiring the crowd to chant the singer's name with enthusiasm.
Goulding surprised fans when she ssang "Lights," reeling things in for a stripped-down, acoustic version of the popular single.
Everyone seemed thoroughly entranced with Goulding's impressive show, not least of which were her celeb friends and fave couple, Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris. The two, who are famously said to have been set up by Goulding, watched on and danced along throughout the show.
We're guessing Harris was especially pleased with Goulding's flawless execution of their collaborative tracks, "Outside" and "I Need Your Love." Fingers crossed Goulding returns to the stage for an encore of these songs during Harris' set on Sunday.
