Bullock made a $1 million contribution to the Red Cross to help Hurricane Harvey victims. She shares,"There are no politics in eight feet of water. There are human beings in eight feet of water,"according to People. 

Leo DiCaprio showed his support for Hurricane Harvey victims and made a $1 million donation from The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation to the newly developed United Way Harvey Recovery Fund. Donations will go towards short term and long term relief efforts. DiCaprio's donation is the first the national fund has received so far. 

The singer shows her support for her hometown and Hurricane Harvey victims. "My heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I remain in constant prayer for those affected and for the rescuers who have been so brave and determined to do so much to help," she told The Houston Chronicle. 

"I am working closely with my team at BeyGOOD as well as my pastor (Rudy Rasmus at St. John's in downtown Houston) to implement a plan to help as many as we can."

Though the amount she has donated is still undisclosed, Lady Gaga took to Twitter to express her thoughts about Hurricane Harvey and her plans for donation. "Praying for Houston what a special place. Making relief donations and sending," she writes. 

In an Instagram published on Monday, Drake said he's partnering with Future and "local relief groups to aid and assist the people of Texas in anyway we can and in the most immediate way possible." He also posted hotline numbers for Hurricane Harvey victims. 

Hart took to Instagram over the past few days to pledge his support for Hurricane Harvey victims. He wrote, "Click the link in my Bio & help me help Houston as well as the other cities that are being affected by Hurricane Harvey....I will be able to track this money and make sure that it is being used properly. Keep your head up Houston & keep your faith." According to his latest Instagram, he has already helped raise $1 million. 

Minaj followed in Hart's footsteps after reposting his Instagram and donating $25,000 to Hurricane Harvey victims. 

Kardashian and her family have donated $500,000 to Hurricane Harvey victims. She wrote on Twitter, "Houston we are praying for you! My mom, sisters & I will be donating $500,000 to @redcross and @salvationarmyus today #HoustonStrong." 

DeGeneres expressed a heartfelt pledge on Twitter towards Hurricane Harvey victims with a donation totaling $50,000. 

Oprah is also donating to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts because, well, she's Oprah. She tweets, "Woke up still praying for #Harvey to recede. Donating to @RedCross and @SalvationArmyUS. Do whatever you can." 

During a recent concert in Auburn Hills, Michigan, Bruno Mars revealed that he had donated $1 million to help victims of the water crisis in Flint, Michigan, according to Rolling Stone. 

"I'm very thankful to the Michigan audience for joining me in supporting this cause," he said in a statement. "Ongoing challenges remain years later for Flint residents, and it's important that we don't forget our brothers and sisters affected by this disaster. As people, especially as Americans, we need to stand together to make sure something like this never happens in any community ever again."

You'd think Jay Z would spend this Father's Day just reveling in the birth of his twins, but nope. He donated to both Color of Change and Southerners On New Ground, organizations that raise money to bail out incarcerated dads every Father's Day. Jay Z wrote, "As a father with a growing family, it's the least I can do, but philanthropy is not a long fix. We have to get rid of these inhumane practices altogether." 

Too cute. The Duke of Cambridge traveled to the children's Oak Center cancer unit at the Royal Marsden Sutton Hospital (of which he is president) recently and got to meet 6-year-old Daisy Wood, along with other patients. She happened to be watching movies on princesses, but joked that William might be too old for her to marry. LOL. 

Royal-of-the-moment Prince Harry took some time out of his busy schedule to reconnect with two very special children in need. E! News reports that the Prince went to visit Ollie Carroll, and his sister Amelia, who both suffer from Batten disease. The extremely rare condition is a genetic childhood nervous system disorder, that eventually takes hold of your basic human functions, like walking, seeing, and breathing. Those who suffer typically do not live past the age of 12. 

Prince Harry met Ollie last year after he won the Most Inspirational Child Award at the Wellchild Awards in October, and came back to check up on both kids. The family wrote in a Facebook post, "For an hour Prince Harry sat with us talking and playing with our children, laughing and making memories. The very thing our children want the most in life, to be happy and having fun." Our hearts are full. 

Just imagine going to school on a Chrissy Teigen scholarship. NBC News reports that Mercedes Edney of Charlotte, North Carolina started an online fundraiser last month to raise $5,995 for aesthetician school; by Friday, she'd raised $300, when Teigen stepped in and paid off the rest. "I've seen this be your passion for such a long time now," Teigen wrote in a note with her donation. "So excited to see you fulfill your dream!" 

Following Gomez's impassioned speech on her personal health struggles at the American Music Awards last year, the singer is making yet another statement to further awareness of the autoimmune disease lupus. People reports that Gomez has made a donation to USC's Keck School of Medicine, as a part of the launch of her Selena Gomez Fund for Lupus Research. Her battle with lupus has been ongoing since she first took a career hiatus in 2015, and with this donation she hopes that will help lead the fight for a cure. Dr. Janos Peti-Peterdi, leader of the initial research team, said "We are extremely pleased to partner with Selena in her efforts to promote awareness and medical research toward a much-needed cure for lupus." Yes, girl. 

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth spent time over the holidays visiting patients at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. Cyrus and Hemsworth were spotted in numerous social media posts from their surprise visit as they posed for selfies and spent time with patients, E reports. The trip was on behalf of Cyrus' non-profit organization, The Happy Hippie Foundation. Rady's Children Hospital complied a collection of heartwarming photos from their visit on their Facebook page along with the message, "Thank you to Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth and The Happy Hippie Foundation for bringing joy and laughter to our patients!" 👏 👏 .

Nobody loves a good deed quite like Swift. T.Swift surprised Cyrus Porter, a 96-year-old World War II veteran who has been called the oldest "Swifty" fan, with a special Christmas visit at his Missouri home. "It's a Christmas Miracle! My grandpa was so excited," Porter's grandson Robert Frye tweeted of the visit. "She puts on a show no one else puts on," Porter, who has been to two Swift concerts, said. But no concert can compare to the acoustic performance Swift gave in Porter's living room. Bravo, Tay!

Lawrence is the gift that keeps on giving. For the fourth year in a row, JLaw visited the Norton Children's Hospital in her hometown, Louisville, Kentucky, on Christmas Eve. Although the visit was kept on the DL, the hospital posted on social media to show Lawrence spreading holiday cheer to the patients and staff, Time reports. "Our house manager gave us her order before the show and we filled it," an employee told E! News. Taylor Swift does it again—this time joining the American of Country Music in donating $100,000 to Dolly Parton's telethon fund, Smokey Mountain Rise: A Benefit for the My People. Their mission? To help those who were recently affected by wildfires in Smokey Mountain.

"The Academy and ACM Lifting Lives are honored to contribute in a meaningful way to Dolly's heroic efforts to help the people of her hometown—and when Taylor heard what we were planning, she offered to match our gift, which gives it that much more impact," Tiffany Moon, Executive Vice President and Managing Director of the Academy said in a statement to ET. "We are so grateful to Taylor for her support to the Academy's charitable efforts through the years, and for helping us and Dolly Parton assist families in need at a time of crisis."

After a father's Facebook post detailing his daughter Meghan's dying wish to speak with the singer went viral, Taylor Facetimed with the 18-year-old for half an hour. Though specifics of the convo were kept private, Meghan posted a heart-felt letter indicating that words would "never be enough" to thank T.Swift.

This is an emotional one: Katy Perry surprised Tony Marrero, a survivor of the Orlando nightclub shooting, by personally paying for his first year of film school. Marrero appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and explained that Perry's song "Rise" helped him through his recovery process. A visibly-moved Perry surprised Marrero live on the show with tears in her eyes. "I heard that you're creative just like me and you have dreams," Perry told Marrero. "And I heard that you want to go to film school so I personally want to pay for your first year at film school." There wasn't a dry eye in the audience.

Taylor continues to amaze. After her godson (and Jaime King's son) Leo Thames was diagnosed with a heart condition, she visited and gave support to her friend and Leo. But then she went above and beyond—and King decided to reveal this in a new Instagram post. Talking about her son's condition, the actress shared that Swift had donated in Leo Thames' name a (what we can guess is a large) tribute gift to support the team at Cedars-Sinai who helped him, ensuring they can continue to do that work. "S[wift] knew that giving back in this way would be the greatest gift one could give to us, to Leo Thames and to all of those with congenital heart issues."

Taylor Swift donated $1 million to the Louisiana flood relief, after a massive flood has devastated the state and taken 11 lives. "We began The 1989 World Tour in Louisiana, and the wonderful fans there made us feel completely at home. The fact that so many people in Louisiana have been forced out of their own homes this week is heartbreaking," the 26-year-old said in a statement to the Associated Press. "I encourage those who can to help out and send your love and prayers their way during this devastating time." Doing good, Tay.

Although you thought it was impossible to love Jennifer Lawrence more than you already do, your dream BFF changed that by casually donating $2 million to the Kosair Children's Hospital in her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.

"Hi, I'm Jennifer Lawrence. I'm excited to announce we will be establishing the Jennifer Lawrence Foundation Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Kosair Children's Hospital," J-Law says in a new YouTube video. "As part of my effort to help these children and caregivers, I challenge the entire community to get behind this cause and help match my gift by raising an additional $2 million to support all of these brave and inspiring children."

Funds will support the creation of the hospital's new wing which will "feature private rooms dedicated to children recovering from heart procedures, open heart surgery including heart transplant, heart failure and other conditions requiring intensive care." Amazing.
