From Pretty Woman to Love, Simon, James Corden spared no movie in his quest.

If there were ever a question about the chemistry between Charlize Theron and Seth Rogen, it was dispelled on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Thursday, where Corden had the duo recreate just about every major romantic comedy from the past thirty-plus years. As the duo makes their rounds promoting Long Shot, Theron and Rogen stopped by the show, and the result is the messiest masterpiece ever.

Over the course of 12 minutes, about 10 really terrible wigs, and at least four pieces of poster board, the trio recreated iconic moments from Pretty Woman, Love Simon, As Good as It Gets, and at least fifteen other scenes. Oh, and that orgasm scene in Katz Deli from When Harry Met Sally? Perfection. Hilariously, Rogen and Corden got their wires crossed on who should be playing the male lead in Knocked Up.

What starts out as a regular late night skit actually turns out to be pretty impressive when you consider how much they had to memorize for twelve uninterrupted minutes. Of course, you don't sign up for a bit that extensive if there's not a significant place to plug your movie, so those Love, Actually messages ended up a little promotional for Long Shot.

Theron and Rogen add one more to the rom-com canon this weekend with Long Shot—a story about a journalist who reconnects with his old babysitter who just happens to be Secretary of State. Oh, and she's going to make a run for president. Go big or go home. But if early reviews are any indication, it's going to be a pretty solid movie. Maybe in a few years, we'll see it recreated on late night, too. Get Jacob Tremblay on the phone.
