On Monday, December 30, after eight long years of litigation, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt finally settled their divorce.

While legal experts say a number of factors contributed to the former couple's drawn-out divorce process, a source close to Pitt says one factor topped the list when it came to his decision to finally settle: His girlfriend, Ines de Ramon.

The jewelry designed reportedly pushed Pitt to put an end to the legal battle—which began the better part of a decade ago, when Jolie filed for divorce in 2016—so that their life together could move forward.

“He was influenced by Ines to finally settle,” an insider close to Pitt and de Ramon told Page Six. “Ines wants to have a life together—with possibly children in the future—without the albatross that was the eight-year War of the Roses.”

Pitt and de Ramon were first linked in November 2022, when they were spotted backstage at a Los Angeles Bono concert together and, in February 2024, a source confirmed to People that the couple had moved in together. That source described the decision as the "natural" next step for the couple and said the actor "couldn't be happier" and has "found his spark again" since he started seeing de Ramon.

And it sounds like things can get even better for the couple now that he and Jolie have reached their divorce settlement.

“She has made [it known that] her opinion is that life would be much more enjoyable with this settled,” the Page Six source added of de Ramon encouraging Pitt to settle.

A second source told the outlet that de Ramon is a "positive influence" on Pitt in general, adding that she "has a really good perspective on things"—including the need for Pitt to end the contentious divorce.

"It’s sad how this whole thing has played out, but at least this is progress in the right direction," the source said of the lengthy legal battle. “Both sides realized it was time to move on. It was mutually beneficial to get it done with.”

For her part, Jolie is reportedly happy to have the divorce settled, too. A source close to the actress told People that the 8-year-long process was "horrendous" for Jolie and her lawyer confirmed in a statement that she's "exhausted," but "relieved this one part is over" (Pitt and Jolie's legal battle over their French winery, Chateau Miraval, remains ongoing—possibly forever).

On Monday, December 30, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt reached a settlement in their divorce, ending a years-long and highly-contentious process that reportedly took a toll on the actress.

"These last eight years have been such a horrendous time for her and her family," a source close to Jolie told People after news of the divorce settlement broke.

The source's description of the years-long ordeal as "horrendous" fits with the statement her divorce attorney, James Simon of Hersh Mannis, released Monday, in which he said the actress was "exhausted," but "relieved" that the settlement has finally been reached.

"More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt," the statement read. "She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over."

Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, following an incident on a private plane, during which the actress claimed Pitt was abusive toward their six children. The actor was investigated by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services and eventually cleared and Jolie declined to press charges—a decision the People source also touched on.

"She could have pressed charges against him. She could have told the world what happened. She didn’t," the source added. "All she wanted was for Brad to get the help he needed and for their children to get the support they needed to heal."

Although all six of the couple's children were minors when Jolie filed for divorce (and custody disputes were reportedly a part of the settlement negotiations), now only two are still under 18—twins Knox and Vivienne, who are 16. The four older children—Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 19, and Shiloh, 18—are all legally adults and have "virtually no contact" with Pitt, a source told People earlier this year.

Even with the lingering issues in the family (and the former couple's continuing legal battle over a French winery they owned together), finalizing the settlement is a weight off Jolie's shoulders, according to the source, who added that "It gives her some relief" that "this part is finally over."

The better part of a decade after beginning the divorce process, things are officially over between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

“More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. According to a separate report from People, experts say the former couple's lengthy divorce timeline was "absolutely" not normal and was caused by a "perfect storm" of factors, including Pitt's DCFS investigation, custody disputes, and issues with the original judge on the case.

Another factor that John Lambros, a family law attorney licensed in Florida, Michigan and Massachusetts who spoke to People about the legal issues surrounding Pitt and Jolie's divorce said could have contributed to the drawn-out settlement saga is bifurcation.

In 2019, the actors' divorce was bifurcated, meaning that they were declared legally single even though their settlement negotiations were ongoing.

“What does everybody want to do when you're in a divorce? You want to get divorced,” Lambros said, explaining that bifurcating the divorce can reduce people's incentive to reach a settlement quickly. “When you bifurcate that case and you grant them their divorce, well, a lot of the pressure of ‘I'm still married’ is gone.”

Although all six of the couple's children were minors when Jolie filed for divorce, now, only the youngest, 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, are still under 18. The couple's other four children—Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 19, and Shiloh, 18—are all legally adults and no longer a part of any formal custody arrangement. A source told People earlier this year that Pitt has "virtually no contact with the adult kids."

“His engagement with the younger kids is more limited in recent months because of his filming schedule,” referring to Pitt's production schedule filming the racing movie F1 on-location in Europe.

The source added that Jolie “has the kids most of the time, but, per their agreement, he has visitation with the younger kids.”

In May, Shiloh filed paperwork to legally change her last name from "Jolie-Pitt" to "Jolie," a decision that insiders said was purely her own.

"Shiloh hired her own lawyer and paid for it herself," a source told People at the time.

People reported that Pitt's representatives declined to confirm or comment on the settlement, which Jolie's lawyer described as a "relief" for the actress.

"She doesn’t speak ill of [Pitt] publicly or privately," a source close to Jolie told the outlet. "She’s been trying hard to be light after a dark time."

Some of Angelina Jolie's kids are seen on the red carpet fairly often, while others tend to avoid the spotlight.

The actress' son Knox, 16, typically falls in the latter category, but made an exception on Sunday night, when he accompanied his ultra-famous mom to the 2024 Governors Awards in Los Angeles.

Knox, in an elegant tux and bowtie, beamed on his mom's arm, and was almost exactly as tall as her, although she was likely wearing heels. Jolie, as for her, stunned in a textured gold and yellow full-length gown, worn with an opulent choker and drop earrings. Both mom and son seemed to be delighted to be in each other's company at the prestigious event.

The last time the 16-year-old walked a red carpet was at a U.K. screening of Eternals in October 2021.

Jolie's kids with ex-husband Brad Pitt have made many headlines in recent months, as one after the other, they dropped their dad's last name—either legally, professionally or in everyday use.

During a dance ceremony for her sorority at Spelman College, Zahara, 19, announced herself simply as "Zahara Marley Jolie."

Shiloh, 18, filed paperwork to legally remove "Pitt" from her name earlier this year.

Venice Film Festival continues to be a glitzy, star-studded affair. On Sunday night, George Clooney stepped out with his wife, Amal Clooney, to promote new movie Wolfs. The Clooneys were joined by Wolfs costar Brad Pitt, and the actor's new girlfriend, Inés de Ramón.

The foursome clearly had a ball together at the event, which was basically a really fancy double date. The Wolfs premiere also marked the very first time Pitt has walked the red carpet with his new beau, de Ramón.

Amal outshone her husband on the red carpet by wearing a light yellow Atelier Versace gown. She accessorized the chic dress with a Judith Leiber purse. Meanwhile, Anita Ko vice president de Ramón looked sleek in a white one-shoulder Pillar Dress from Entire Studios, which retails for $239.

The day before the Wolfs premiere, the Clooneys, Pitt, and de Ramón had dinner together at Ristorante Da Ivo in Venice, per People. The foursome made a dramatic entrance at the restaurant when they arrived by motorboat taxi.

As reported by People, the foursome ate "fiori di zucca in pastella (zucchini flowers in batter stuffed with mozzarella), porcini mushrooms and truffle risotto, tagliata di manzo (sliced beef) and paccheri pasta, which was paired with red and white wine."

Brad Pitt's ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, is also present at Venice Film Festival, but the pair have painstakingly avoided one another. As the former couple continue to work out the final details of their divorce settlement, Jolie reportedly hopes to "end the fighting" as soon as possible. Jolie also subtly alluded to the divorce while promoting the film Maria at the festival. "There’s a lot I won’t say in this room that you probably know and assume," she told reporters.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Pitt and de Ramón, who was previously married to Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley, had taken the next step in their relationship by moving in together. "They were spending so much time together at Brad’s that it just made sense for Ines to move in with him," a source told People. "Moving in together was a natural thing."

While promoting her latest film Maria at this year's Venice Film Festival, actress and philanthropist Angelina Jolie seemingly alluded to her personal life, including her ongoing, contentious divorce from actor Brad Pitt.

"There’s a lot I won’t say in this room that you probably know and assume," the actress said during a press conference on Thursday, Aug. 29, and after being asked what she had most in common with real-life opera singer Maria Callas, the subject of the biopic.

"I related to the part of her that is extremely soft and didn’t have room in the world to be as soft as she truly was and as emotionally open as she truly was," Jolie continued, as reported by People. "I think I share her vulnerability more than anything."

Both Pitt and Jolie are attending the 81st Venice International Film Festival this year—Jolie for her biopic Maria, and Pitt for his new movie Wolfs.

Earlier this month, in an interview for Vanity Fair, Venice Film Festival artistic director Alberto Barbera explained how the two would successfully avoid each other during the screenings, red carpets and photo calls.

"Angelina will be on the first day, on Thursday [Aug.] 29, and she will leave right after with [Maria director] Pablo Larraín to go to Telluride [Film Festival]," Barbera told the publication at the time. "Brad will arrive only on Saturday, to Venice.

"There is no way that they can cross each other at the Lido," Barbera added.

Pitt and Jolie are still in the midst of intense divorce negotiations after the actress filed to end her marriage with her former Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star in 2016.

In 2022, as part of the eight-year divorce proceedings, Jolie filed court paperwork alleging Pitt abused her and her kids in 2016 while on a private plane traveling from France to California, The New York Times reported at the time.

According to the filing, "Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face” and “grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her." At one point, Jolie alleges Pitt “poured beer on Jolie; at another, he poured beer and red wine on the children.”

According to The New York Times, the incident was investigated but federal authorities declined to press criminal charges against Pitt. Days after the plane trip and alleged incident, Jolie filed for divorce.

In response, Anne Kiley, an attorney for Pitt, said the actor "had accepted responsibility for some things in his past, but he would not accept responsibility for the things he did not do."

Recently, the couple's daughter, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, petitioned to change her last name on her 18th birthday, requesting that her father's surname be removed.

Shiloh's decision to remove her father's surname from her last name was reportedly a “significant decision,” and happened after “painful events,” according to a previous report from People.

As the country is learning more about the Democratic vice presidential nominee, the internet is losing its you-know-what over one surprising fact: Gov. Tim Walz is younger than Hollywood A-listers Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise.

Gov. Tim Walz was born on April 6, 1964. Tom Cruise was born on July 3, 1962. Brad Pitt was born on December 18, 1963.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's son, Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt, was involved in a traffic accident on July 29, TMZ reported. The 20-year-old was reportedly riding an electric bike when he crashed into the back of a car in Los Angeles, according to the publication.

Law enforcement sources confirmed news of the accident to TMZ, who reported, "[A]s he approached a red light, he rammed into the back of a car stopped at the intersection." The accident reportedly happened during rush hour on Los Feliz Boulevard.

Pax was treated by paramedics at the scene, which was also attended by police officers. Witnesses told TMZ that Pax was "experiencing hip pain, and had apparently suffered a head injury," having not been wearing a helmet when the accident occurred. As a result, Pax was reportedly taken to a hospital in Los Angeles to be treated.

According to TMZ, it was essential Pax got checked out at the hospital as "medics feared he suffered a minor brain bleed in the wreck." Luckily, that doesn't seem to have been the case, with the publication reporting Pax is in stable condition and won't need an extended stay in hospital.

Pax's accident comes after a tumultuous time in his parents' lives, as Jolie and Pitt's divorce battle continues to drag on. Earlier this month, Jolie's lawyer released a statement, which read (via E! News), "While Angelina again asks Mr. Pitt to end the fighting and finally put their family on a clear path toward healing, unless Mr. Pitt withdraws his lawsuit, Angelina has no choice but to obtain the evidence necessary to prove his allegations wrong."

Despite the drawn out legal proceedings, the Maleficent star appears to be in good spirits. "Angie seems very happy and content with her life," a source told People in July 2024. "She's focused on her kids and work. She's involved in projects that she truly cares and feels passionate about." Hopefully Jolie's son Pax will make a speedy recover following his accident.

Though Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt split up in 2016, eight years later they are still not divorced (though they were declared legally single back in 2019). Now, as their divorce battle rages on, Jolie is calling for Pitt to “end the fighting” in their prolonged legal battle, E! News reports.

The battle is long and complicated, but let’s start here: the two became a couple in 2005 after meeting on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith; they finally married after nine years together (and six kids) in 2014. But just two years later, Jolie filed for divorce in 2016, and in addition to their divorce battle, the two have been embroiled in a heated civil suit after Jolie sold her stakes in their once-shared French estate and vineyard, Chateau Miraval. Jolie’s attorney said in a statement yesterday that it is Jolie’s wish to “end the fighting and finally put their family on a clear path toward healing,” adding that unless Pitt withdraws his lawsuit against her, Jolie will have “no choice but to obtain the evidence necessary to prove his allegations wrong,” which include a deeper look into the alleged 2016 plane incident that led to the end of their marriage.

Pitt’s attorney Anne Kiley said of those 2016 allegations that “Brad has owned everything he’s responsible for from day one—unlike the other side—but he’s not going to own anything he didn’t do. He has been on the receiving end of every type of personal attack and misrepresentation.”

Per People, Pitt sued Jolie after she sold her half of Chateau Miraval in October 2021 for $67 million. “He argued that the sale went against a verbal agreement they had,” People writes. “Jolie’s side has said she refused to let him buy her out of the business because she didn’t want to sign his NDA [non-disclosure agreement] as part of the deal.”

Jolie and Pitt purchased the winery in 2008 and were 50-50 partners until 2021, Entertainment Tonight reports. In addition to the lawsuit regarding Chateau Miraval, Jolie and Pitt have also been wrapped up in what Us Weekly calls “messy legal disputes” over the custody of the six children they share—Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne. The twins are the only two of the couple’s six kids to remain underage, as they just turned 16 earlier this month. 

Back in May, on the occasion of her eighteenth birthday, Shiloh hired her own lawyer—and apparently paid for said lawyer herself—to file legal paperwork to drop “Pitt” from her surname (all of the kids carry the last name Jolie-Pitt). Though Shiloh is thought to be the only one of the six to make it legal, Maddox, Zahara, and Vivienne have also reportedly informally dropped “Pitt” from their surname as well—indicative of Pitt’s strained relationship with the kids.

When they split in 2016, Jolie, in addition to filing for divorce, also filed for sole physical custody of the kids. The custody agreement between Jolie and Pitt allows visitation rights to their minor children—with Knox and Vivienne being the only two of the six that remain minors. Jolie and Pitt often “clashed” over their “very different parenting styles” during their time as a couple, People reports, with a source telling the outlet that “During their marriage, they had very different parenting styles. Brad grew up with structure and wanted more rules for the kids. Angie had a different upbringing and wanted the kids to be more independent and responsible for their own schedules from a young age.” 

They added that “Brad and Angie clashed over this. However, they did always have the same vision for their kids’ future. They wanted the kids to thrive by experiencing the world firsthand and not only learn from traditional schooling.”

A separate source told the outlet of Jolie and Pitt that “They still both really care,” they said. “They both care about the children.”

The situation continues to look bleak for Brad Pitt and his six children, all of whom he shares with his ex, Angelina Jolie—People reports that, while Pitt has visitation with his younger children, twins Knox and Vivienne (who turn 16 on Friday), he has “virtually no contact” with his older children Maddox, Zahara, Pax, and Shiloh. The latter made headlines in May for filing paperwork to legally drop “Pitt” from her surname and, though Shiloh is believed to be the only one of the six Jolie-Pitt children to legally file paperwork to remove “Pitt” from her last name, Maddox, Zahara, and even Vivienne have been known to drop it in an informal capacity.

“He has virtually no contact with the adult kids,” a source speaking to People said. “His engagement with the younger kids is more limited in recent months because of his filming schedule,” referring to Pitt being on location in Europe currently, filming the racing movie F1.

They continued that Jolie “has the kids most of the time, but, per their agreement, he has visitation with the younger kids.”

Pitt is both “aware and upset that Shiloh dropped his last name,” a source told the publication; on the occasion of her eighteenth birthday, Shiloh hired an attorney that she apparently paid for herself to take care of the matter. “The reminders that he’s lost his children is, of course, not easy for Brad,” they continued. “He loves his children and misses them. It’s very sad.”

Though Pitt is “still happy with Ines” de Ramon, his girlfriend, the distance from his kids “pains him,” they added.

A different source close to Pitt said that “He still loves all of his kids tremendously,” they said. “This whole process has been very hard for the whole family.”

Pitt and Jolie became a couple in 2005 after filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith; they eventually married in 2014 but split in 2016. Their divorce still isn’t totally finalized, as custody arrangements and their shared winery remain points of contention; that said, they were both declared legally single in 2019.

Though at least three of her five siblings have informally dropped “Pitt” from their last name, as well, Shiloh is the first that is known to make the change official, and it is a decision that has “devastated” her father, Pitt, Page Six reports.

Though the outlet reports that the actor has been “putting on a brave face” since Shiloh’s May 27 filing, he sees it all as a “symbol of deeper estrangement” and “more than a name change,” a source said.

It was a decision they said “has been brewing for years,” likely following Jolie and Pitt’s split in 2016 after 11 years as a couple, allegedly after an altercation on a plane. Jolie and Pitt began their relationship in 2005 after meeting on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith; Shiloh was born the next year, in 2006. The couple eventually married in 2014 but broke up just two years later; technically, they’re still legally married, as their divorce—specifically custody agreements surrounding their youngest children, twins Knox and Vivienne (who are still underage), and their winery, Chateau Miraval—is still being worked out. That said, they were declared legally single in 2019, and Pitt has romantically moved on with Ines de Ramon, whom he has been dating since November 2022.

Jolie and Pitt share six children: Shiloh, plus Maddox, Zahara, and Vivienne, all of whom have reportedly dropped the “Pitt” surname informally, and Knox and Pax; it remains unknown whether they still use “Jolie-Pitt” or not. The children’s estrangement against him is something another source said Pitt is “finding it extremely difficult to come to terms with,” specifically this recent move by Shiloh.

None of the six children “have much of a relationship” with their father, but he, for his part, is “not ready to give up on them.” (This weekend marks Father’s Day in the U.S., which will no doubt be tough for Pitt.) 

Page Six reports that Pitt is hoping to “forge” a bond with his six children as they “get older and have a life of their own,” insinuating lives away from Jolie, who the outlet reports has used their brood “as a weapon against Brad” and “separated” them from him amid their contentious divorce.

“The reminders that he’s lost his children is, of course, not easy for Brad,” a source told People. “He loves his children and misses them. It’s very sad.” Us Weekly’s source told the publication that “all he can do is be the best father he can possibly be,” they said. “He adores his children, and always will.”

According to a source speaking to Us Weekly, the kids have “struggled to forgive and connect with Brad since the divorce,” they said. “Their mom is the head of the household, and she’s raised them with love and selflessness their whole lives. Once Brad left, it was very hard for them to see him go to war with her.” 

Of any potential involvement by Jolie to distance the kids from Pitt, “He feels that the negative narrative Angelina presents to the kids is a major obstacle in his efforts to reconnect,” they said. “With Angelina having daily influence over the children, Brad finds it nearly impossible to change their perceptions.” But, another source counters, “For anyone to suggest she’s controlled them is off base.”

Pitt spoke to GQ in 2017—the year after his breakup from Jolie—and admitted to his shortcomings as a parent: “I grew up with a Father Knows Best, war mentality,” he said. “Instead of really knowing the man [his father] and his own self-doubt and struggles. And it’s hit me smack in the face with our divorce—I gotta be more. I gotta be more for them. I have to show them. And I haven’t been great at it.”

Both Jolie and Pitt almost never speak directly about their divorce, but Jolie told Vogue last September that, in the aftermath of her split from Pitt, she and her children are still “healing”: “We’re still finding our footing,” she said. 

In Shania Twain’s hit 1998 song “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” a very famous actor is name-checked—but that might soon change. In the song, Twain sings the lyric “Okay, so you’re Brad Pitt” before launching into the chorus, beginning with the title of the song, “That don’t impress me much.”

Pitt was superfamous in 1998 and he’s superfamous today, but, People reports, the 26-year-old tune might be getting a refresh, if what Twain is teasing is true. During an appearance on the BBC podcast “Sidetracked with Annie and Nick,” Twain keyed up that another heartthrob might get the nod in the song: one gentleman by the name of Harry Styles. 

After being asked the very interesting question of, if she were writing the lyrics now, would she swap out Pitt for someone else, Twain “teased that she may do so while she performs the song during her upcoming set at the Glastonbury Festival,” which is set for June 30 in the U.K. “I would say Harry Styles,” Twain said. “And it sings good, too.”

She added “I sort of see Brad Pitt as a James Dean of his generation, and I see Harry Styles as that, as well. He’s rugged, but pretty—it’s like a charm that he has.”

Twain confirmed, intriguingly, that this wouldn’t be the first time she’s swapped Pitt’s name out for someone else: “At a live show, I cheekily [sang] Ryan Reynolds, since he was there,” she said. “It was very cute.”

And the Styles homage isn’t totally out of left field, as the two have met, and multiple times, at that. In an interview with Today in January 2023, Twain said she met Styles backstage at one of his shows when “he was just really on his way up,” she said, adding that the two have “stayed in touch ever since.” For his part, Styles said that he listened to the country superstar’s music with his mother while growing up, telling Entertainment Tonight in 2017 that his “music and fashion [were] influenced [by] Shania Twain. I think she’s amazing.” Styles has even done the honor of covering one of Twain’s songs, “You’re Still the One,” while on tour with Kacey Musgraves, and, when he performed at Coachella in 2022, they performed that song and “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” together. 

“I didn’t realize the significance of that moment,” Twain told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in 2023. “I just saw it as a moment to get together with Harry, but I didn’t see it as such a landmark moment.” She added, “It was such a wonderful surprise, everyone’s reaction.”

In addition to Twain—and a possible lyric shakeup—this year’s Glastonbury Festival will feature the likes of Coldplay, Dua Lipa, and SZA. And as for Pitt? Well—dude’s having a rough go of it lately.

Brad Pitt’s daughter Shiloh has certainly taken the lion’s share of the headlines amongst the six children he shares with ex Angelina Jolie—specifically her decision to, on her 18th birthday last week, hire a lawyer (and apparently pay for said attorney herself) to file paperwork to legally change her name from Shiloh Jolie-Pitt to simply Shiloh Jolie. (Indicative, no doubt, of a strained relationship with her father.)

But Shiloh is far from the only one of Pitt’s brood to drop “Pitt” from their surname—though she does appear to be, so far anyway, the only one to file paperwork to do so legally. Back in November, Us Weekly reports, daughter Zahara introduced herself as “Zahara Marley Jolie” while joining the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority at Spelman College: “Coming all the way from the Golden State in the city that is full of angels, Los Angeles, California,” she said in a clip shared by Essence at the time. “I am this line’s number seven.” So, no “Pitt” in sight.

Then, last month, Us Weekly confirmed that Vivienne—who, with twin brother Knox, rounds out the youngest of Jolie and Pitt’s children—listed her name as “Vivienne Jolie” in the Playbill for The Outsiders: A New Musical, which Vivienne is working on, and which her mother, Jolie, is producing.

Maddox, the ex-couple’s eldest child, has also reportedly dropped “Pitt” from his last name; no word on Pax and Knox, the other two Jolie-Pitt children.

After becoming a couple in 2005, Jolie and Pitt married in 2014, but separated in 2016 following an alleged incident on a plane; because of battles over custody of their youngest children, Knox and Vivienne (who are still just 15 years old) and their shared winery, Chateau Miraval, Jolie and Pitt’s divorce continues to be argued in courts today, though they were both declared legally single in 2019. Even so, “After years of legal battles, Brad still isn’t ready to give up on his children,” a source told Us Weekly. “But knowing his children are dropping his last name is upsetting.” 

News of Shiloh’s requested name change comes on the heels of Pitt’s security guard, Tony Webb, claiming that “Jolie encouraged their children to ice out the actor during custody visits,” Us Weekly writes. In court documents obtained by the publication earlier this month, Webb alleged that a former employee, Ross Foster, told him “about statements he overheard that Ms. Jolie made to the children, encouraging them to avoid spending time with Mr. Pitt during custody visits.”

Though their divorce has been in motion for the better part of eight years, Us Weekly reports that it could end soon, and could see Jolie receive primary custody of Knox and Vivienne, the only two of the couple’s six children that are still underage. (The twins will turn 16 next month.) Pitt apparently (and not surprisingly) “isn’t thrilled” with the agreement, but has reportedly agreed to it. 

“He wishes their relationship was stronger and wants to work on that,” they said, adding that Pitt is disappointed he “doesn’t see the kids” as often as he’d like to.

Speaking of ongoing legal issues, Shiloh’s name change request—which was just filed on May 27—hasn’t been approved just yet.

Marie Claire reported last week that Shiloh, the daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, used the occasion of her eighteenth birthday on May 27 to file paperwork to legally change her name from Shiloh Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Jolie—likely indicative of ongoing strain between Shiloh and her father. 

Though at least four of Jolie and Pitt’s six children have informally dropped “Pitt” from their surname, it seems Shiloh is, heretofore anyway, the only one of her siblings to take the matter to the courts—and, as Marie Claire reported on Sunday, apparently even hired her own lawyer and paid for the attorney’s services herself. (Maddox, Zahara, and Vivienne are the others who have reportedly stopped using “Pitt” in their moniker; no word on Pax or Knox.) 

Pitt, according to People, is “aware and upset” that Shiloh has opted to remove his surname from hers, with a source adding that “he loves his children.” When Jolie and Pitt became a couple in 2005—controversially, if you’ll remember, as Pitt had just ended his marriage to ex-wife Jennifer Aniston—Jolie had already adopted son Maddox and daughter Zahara (which Pitt later legally adopted, as well). The couple’s biological daughter, Shiloh, was born in 2006.

“He’s never felt more joy than when she was born,” the source speaking to People said of Pitt upon the birth of Shiloh that May. “He always wanted a daughter.” Jolie and Pitt later adopted son Pax, and twins Knox and Vivienne rounded out their brood in 2008.

“The reminders that he’s lost his children is, of course, not easy for Brad,” the source continued. “He loves his children and misses them. It’s very sad.” Though they added that Pitt is “still happy with Ines [de Ramon]”—Pitt’s girlfriend—the distance from his children “pains him.”

A different source close to Pitt told People “He still loves all of his kids tremendously,” and added “This whole process has been very hard for the whole family.” 

Jolie and Pitt eventually married in 2014 after nine years together; Jolie filed for divorce just two years later, in 2016, and in doing so also filed for sole physical custody of their kids. Jolie and Pitt’s divorce battle still looms eight years on, not only over custody but also over their winery, Chateau Miraval. In a recent filing relating to the winery, a former security guard for the couple—who still works for Pitt—claimed in legal documents that Jolie allegedly “encouraged” the kids to “avoid spending time” with Pitt during visits.

Paul Murphy, an attorney for Jolie, later told People that “all Angelina has ever wanted was separation and health, with positive relationships between all members of their family, including Mr. Pitt.” 

Per Page Six, Jolie and Pitt were declared legally single back in 2019, but their divorce proceedings remain ongoing.

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt turned 18 years old this week—May 27, to be exact—and celebrated the milestone age with a significant change: her name, which she filed paperwork to legally change from Shiloh Jolie-Pitt to Shiloh Jolie on her birthday this past Monday, TMZ reports. Shiloh is the daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and this name change would, at least in one very significant way, sever a major tie to her father by dropping his surname.

“Mind you, this doc was literally filed on Monday, which was on Memorial Day, and also happens to be her 18th birthday,” the outlet reports. “So, it seems this was one of the first things she wanted to do as an adult.” The publication added “Of course, it’s incredibly telling—it’s no secret Brad has had a strained relationship with some of his kids since he and Angelina filed for divorce in 2016, an ugly split that has dragged on in court, even to this day.”

Shiloh is one of Jolie and Pitt’s six children, all of whom carried the Jolie-Pitt surname—or at least did. Zahara, another of the ex-couple’s daughters, doesn’t use Pitt in her name anymore, TMZ reports, and their youngest daughter, 15-year-old Vivienne, has reportedly also avoided using “Pitt” in her name; “she was only listed as Vivienne Jolie on a Playbill for an Angelina-produced Broadway musical she was recently working on as a PA,” TMZ writes. (The play, by the way, is The Outsiders.) Jolie and Pitt’s eldest, Maddox, also reportedly doesn’t use “Pitt” in his surname anymore, “but it appears as if Shiloh is the only one of the kids who’s filed to make it count in court,” the outlet reports. 

If her request is granted, Shiloh’s legal name will be Shiloh Nouvel Jolie. In addition to her siblings Zahara, Vivienne, and Maddox, Shiloh has two other siblings, Pax and Knox, who is Vivienne’s twin.

Jolie and Pitt began dating in 2005 after starring together in Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and, controversially at the time, not long after Pitt filed for divorce from Jennifer Aniston. Jolie and Pitt officially married in 2014, but just two years later, Jolie filed for divorce in 2016 “following an alleged altercation during a flight with their children,” Entertainment Tonight reports. “The pair have been entrenched in a lengthy legal battle since,” largely centered around the custody of their children and ownership over their French winery, Chateau Miraval.

Of Pitt’s relationship with his children, “He wishes their relationship was stronger and wants to work on that,” a source speaking to Us Weekly said, adding that the actor is disappointed that he “doesn’t see the kids” as often as he’d like to. 

As far back as August 2022, a source speaking to People said that “it’s been a sad situation for years,” adding “Since Angelina filed for divorce, Brad has been focused on having the best relationship possible with his kids. It’s been very difficult for them. Many times, there have been long gaps when he didn’t see the kids at all.” Yet, they said, “He [Pitt] believes there will be a time when he has a great relationship with his kids again.”

For her part, Jolie’s lawyer said in a recent statement to People that “All Angelina has ever wanted was separation and health, with positive relationships between all members of their family, including Mr. Pitt.” 

After his contentious split from ex-wife Angelina Jolie in 2016, Brad Pitt was in a dark place. In a testament to one person’s ability to influence our lives—for better or worse—the actor “found his spark again” after falling in love with girlfriend Ines de Ramon, People reports. “Brad’s very happy and loves spending time with her,” a source told the outlet.

In fact, Pitt isn’t just happy, they said—he “couldn’t be happier” in his relationship, which is now a live-in one. People confirmed that the two-time Oscar winner and the jewelry executive now live together in his California home, which the source said was the “natural” next step in their relationship. 

“They were spending so much time together at Brad’s that it just made sense for Ines to move in with him,” they said, adding “Moving in together was a natural thing.”

The couple had been dating for “a few months” by the time they were first spotted together in November 2022. de Ramon—who is the head of wholesale for Anita Ko Jewelry—broke up with actor Paul Wesley of The Vampire Diaries in 2022 after three years of marriage; Pitt—who was also previously married to Jennifer Aniston—split from Jolie in 2016 after beginning their relationship in 2005 and marrying in 2014. They share six children together.

“Since the divorce, Brad’s dated, but never seriously,” they said. “This is the first serious relationship, and he couldn’t be happier.” (In addition to his marriages to Aniston and Jolie, Pitt was also engaged to Gwyneth Paltrow in the 1990s.)

The source described de Ramon—who is 26 years Pitt’s junior—as “kind, funny, and very special,” and noted that it is “amazing” to witness Pitt’s revived joy. “With Ines, he found his spark again,” they said. “It’s truly amazing to see. Brad’s a great guy. He deserves to be happy.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's highly publicized and contentious divorce is reportedly close to being finalized, according to TMZ.

In court documents obtained by the outlet, the former couple are both "serving their final financial disclosures on the other party," a significant development in the proceedings as it's the first "movement," the outlet notes, on their court case in "at least a couple years."

TMZ went on to report that the "terms of any overall settlement of the divorce haven't been filed yet," before adding that the recent filing on Thursday "indicate that one of the most legendary marriages and acrimonious divorces in recent Hollywood history is finally coming to an end."

Pitt and Jolie first met on the set of the 2005 film Mr. & Mrs. Smith when Pitt was still married to Friends actress Jennifer Aniston.

In a 2006 interview with People, Jolie said she "didn't know much about exactly where Brad was in his personal life" when they met.

"But it was clear he was with his best friend, someone he loves and respects. And so we were both living, I suppose, very full lives," she told the publication at the time. "I think we were the last two people who were looking for a relationship. I certainly wasn't. I was quite content to be a single mom."

By the end of 2004, Jolie said her and Pitt realized "it might mean something more than we'd earlier allowed ourselves to believe."

"And both knowing that the reality of that was a big thing, something that was going to take a lot of serious consideration," she added.

In 2005, Aniston filed for divorce from Pitt citing irreconcilable differences, as People reported.

Shortly after, Pitt and Jolie went on vacation together with her in Kenya, confirming they are a couple. After Pitt's divorce from Aniston was finalized, Jolie changed her two adopted children's last names to Jolie-Pitt and confirmed she was pregnant with the former married couple's first child, Shiloh, before later confirming she was also pregnant with twins.

The pair eventually married in France in 2014, as Elle reported. But two years later, in 2016, Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt citing "irreconcilable difference" and sought sole physical custody of their children.

One of her attorneys, Robert Offer, released the following statement at the time: "This decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting, and asks that the family be given its privacy at this time."

According to Page Six, one of the reasons why Jolie filed for divorce stemmed from alleged incident that occurred between Pitt, Jolie and some of their children on a private flight.

In court documents obtained by the outlet in 2022, Pitt allegedly “choked” one of his children and “grabbed” Jolie by the head.

In a countersuit, Jolie allegedly attempted to intervene and "grabbed" Pitt from behind.

It's strange to think about our favorite celebrities before they became famous. Like thinking about Pedro Pascal just eating toast in his kitchen, Margot Robbie sitting in a hair salon and not being recognized, and Brad Pitt apparently not bothering to shower.

Yep, it seems that Pitt's hygiene is...well, the pits. (Sorry. I had to.)

Jason Priestley, known for his role on Beverly Hills, 90210, claims he used to live with Pitt when they were both up-and-coming actors in a two-bedroom apartment in the "really crappy part" of Los Angeles.

During this time in their bachelor pad, it seems that they both had quite questionable hygiene habits.

Priestley spoke to Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos on Live! With Kelly and Mark about this time in their lives and said, "We used to play this game to see who could go the longest without showering. I think about it now, and I'm like, 'Dude, how disgusting. What were you thinking?'"

Perhaps it would've helped their acting careers take off a little quicker if they washed up before auditions?

When asked who would win, Priestley said, "Brad. Always Brad." (Hmmm, I wonder if he'd say the same about you, Priestley.)

He added, “I don’t think he does that anymore, but back then, he could go a long time without showering."

I certainly hope the 60-year-old actor has improved his hygiene habits in the meantime!

The roommates apparently lost touch soon after they both got famous, but maybe they'll reach out to try their shower challenge one last time.

Angelina Jolie's big brother, James Haven, is opening up about what he feels his role is as a sibling and uncle and as his younger sister continues her divorce proceedings from estranged husband, Brad Pitt.

In a recent interview on the 90who10 podcast, Haven was asked about his "very close" relationship with his sister.

(If you recall, in 2000 Jolie famously kissed her brother on the lips after winning an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Girl, Interrupted and people collectively lost their minds.)

In response, Haven said that he has been supportive of her sister and his six nieces and nephews as their personal life continues to unfold "in the public eye.”

"That’s where it all started," the proud big brother said. "It started with the protection of her and her children—my nieces and nephews.”

Haven went on to say that he has the ability to "set my life up so I can be present with whatever the situation."

“I want to be there for them or for her," he added. "Whatever she’s going through.”

For the uninitiated, Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September, 2016. The actress accused her estranged husband of “physically and verbally” assaulting her and their children during a flight on a private jet and just days before she ended the relationship, BuzzFeed reports.

Pitt was cleared of any wrongdoing following the initial investigation, according to BuzzFeed, though his lawyer said in a statement in 2022 that he “has owned everything he’s responsible for from day one," Yahoo reports.

Jolie and Pitt share six children—Maddox, 22; Pax, 20; Zahara, 18; Shiloh, 17; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 15.

“They’re becoming young adults, early 20s,” Haven said in the same podcast interview. “I think it’s just very natural and I just want to be there any time. Anytime I’m blessed to be in their presence, I want to be in their presence."

Britney Spears’ bombshell memoir, The Woman in Me, has only been on shelves for three weeks, but it has broken a slew of records—and a screen adaptation is coming, Page Six reports. The rights to the tell-all are currently being fought over by the likes of Reese Witherspoon, Brad Pitt, and Margot Robbie, who would produce the movie or television series, the outlet reports.

Interestingly, Page Six reports that Shonda Rhimes—who wrote Spears’ 2002 movie Crossroads—doesn’t have her name in the hat for the book’s rights. “Shondaland is not pursuing this project,” a spokesperson for the company said. 

As the book is just three weeks post-release, the planned adaptation is still in its very early stages, but interest continues to mount: “It’s only beginning to take shape,” a source said.

Page Six reports that Spears apparently rescheduled a recent meeting with an unnamed top producer “at the last minute” because she “didn’t feel up to it,” and that she is “overwhelmed by the response” and the “media frenzy surrounding it.” Her team is “hold[ing] off on making any major decisions about where the rights end up until she has time to catch her breath,” they said.

Spears is also apparently in talks for a documentary in which she will participate—to the tune of $40 million.

Alec Baldwin

Parker, Phoebe's enthusiastically over-the-top friend and potential love interest in the eighth season, immediately clashes with the rest of the group thanks to his complete lack of sarcasm. Baldwin later said he found Lisa Kudrow "so beautiful and funny, but slightly odd in a wonderful way."

Long-term Days of Our Lives actor Cecilia Monroe (Sarandon) plays Jessica Lockhart in season seven—that is, until she's written off the show as a way for Joey's character to return. Joey accidentally spills the beans to her that her character's brain is being implanted into Dr. Drake's body. She, understandably, is furious, but then forgives him and they have a quick fling. Sarandon called the experience "lovely" and said she felt "very, very privileged."

Denise Richards

In one of the show's weirder plotlines, Richards plays Cassie, Ross' cousin. Ross mistakenly thinks their movie night in is sexy, instead of friendly, and…tries to kiss her? It doesn't go well, to no one's surprise.

John Stamos

Stamos played a freaked-out coworker whom Monica and Chandler try to coerce into being a sperm donor for them [TOO R-RATED??]in season nine (which feels like a wild Mad Libs association). Stamos remembers feeling "heartbroken" over his cameo, since he was told to hold for applause when he entered—and the audience reacted with complete silence.

Jon Favreau

Remember Monica's billionaire boyfriend Pete, who decides he's gonna become a (very bad) MMA fighter in season three? Yup, that was celebrated director and actor Favreau! In a Reddit thread, he called his character "a man of tremendous focus and conviction" and jokingly said he worried about Pete because "I'll always have to live with the uncertainty of what his fate held."

Billy Crystal and Robin Williams

It's a quick scene in season three, but Tomas (Williams) and Tim (Crystal) have a back-and-forth about Tomas' wife's infidelity (spoiler alert: Tim is the one sleeping with her). Apparently, the comedians wandered on set and the writers asked them to do a cameo on the spot—which they completely ad-libbed.

Danny DeVito

You may remember the brief-but-memorable role in which DeVito plays a last-minute stripper Monica and Rachel find for Phoebe in season 10, the same stripper who starts weeping after the women aren't interested in him taking off his clothes. DeVito said that, aside from the fact that he wish he could have stripped completely (lol), he had a great time.

Dakota Fanning

Fanning was one of a few child actors (including Mae Whitman and Cole Sprouse!) to make a cameo on the show. She stars memorably in season 10 as an 8-year-old kid who befriends Joey (they have similar interests!) and gives him some wisdom about accepting Monica and Chandler moving out of the city and into her old house.

Kristin Davis

The Sex and the City star hopped by for a quick cameo in season seven as Erin, one of Joey's flings, whom Rachel and Phoebe end up loving way more than Joey. The two go on a few more dates, but Erin agrees that she and Joey just don't have a "spark."

Brooke Shields

The season two cameo was fun—Shields played Joey's stalker, who ends up licking his hand because she loves his character so much—but in less fun news, her husband at the time Andre Agassi was so enraged by her character's behavior that he came home and smashed all his tennis trophies.

Ben Stiller

A brief love interest for Rachel in the third season, Stiller's character Tommy is basically the angriest man alive (but pretends for a bit that he's, like, a totally normal and chill person). After he gets peed on by the pet chicken(!), his explosive anger immediately outs him to the group, and he breaks up with Rachel immediately on the way out.

Ellen Pompeo

Literally months before she officially became Meredith Grey, Pompeo starred in season 10 as an old classmate of Ross and Chandler and the source of a pact between the two to not date women they both liked (she absolutely made out with Chandler, though, so pact—broken).

George Clooney and Noah Wyle

The two ER doctors appear as…doctors, clearly, treating Rachel in season one in a network stunt that was nevertheless a fun cameo. They have a double date with Rachel and Monica that goes predictably badly, with the two ladies sniping at each other and confessing to insurance fraud. Which is a shame for the show's crossover opportunities.

Anna Faris

Anna had a multi-episode run as the birth mom to Monica and Chandler's babies—remember the surprise twins?—in season 10. Erica is initially worried she might not be pregnant with her football player's baby and instead might have gotten pregnant thanks to "Shovelly Joe" (in prison for, naturally, killing his dad with a shovel), but fortunately it ended up being the football player in the end. Baby Erica is named after her!

Freddie Prinze Jr.

Playing against his heartthrob type, Prinze Jr was a "mannie" (male nanny) named Sandy whom Ross and Rachel hired to take care of Emma in season nine. He ends up getting fired for being too sensitive and being an adult who likes playing with stuffed dinosaurs.

Jeff Goldblum

Goldblum is the very serious theater director Leonard Hayes who clashes with the very not serious Joey in season nine. The two end up getting along—right up until Joey (who uses his full bladder to act better) accidentally pees on Leonard. Fun fact: Jeff is one of only a few characters to break the fourth wall on the entire show.

Aisha Tyler

The first recurring Black character on Friends, Dr. Charlie Wheeler is a love interest first for Joey and then for Ross. (She ends up leaving them both!) Tyler later spoke about her role coming about because of "colorblind casting": "The role wasn't written as a woman of color, and when I auditioned, I read against women of every ethnic background," she said. But, she said she had a good time on the show.

Christina Applegate

Amy Green, one of Rachel's sisters, makes an appearance in season 9 (and Applegate was Emmy-nominated for the appearance). Applegate said she loved being on the show and has known some of the actors, including Perry, for years. Amy came back in season 10, just as selfish and horrible as ever!

Selma Blair

Blair's character Wendy appears in the ninth season, getting flirty with Chandler as the two are working together in Oklahoma. Both of them are married, which apparently doesn't appear to bother Wendy. Chandler quits his job to move back home.

Bruce Willis

Eliciting a huge audience scream, Willis starred in season six as Paul, the dad to Ross' much younger girlfriend…who also ends up dating Rachel. Perry later confessed that Willis appeared on the show because he lost a bet to Perry over whether the film they starred in, The Whole Nine Yards, would be a hit.

Gabrielle Union

Kristen, whom both Ross and Joey like, goes on dates with both men in season seven. Shocker—both men compete for her attention, and she ends up not interested in either of them. Union has spoken about feeling disrespected (on the show and in Hollywood) as a Black actress; She hosted an all-Black cast Friends episode reading in 2020.

Jennifer Coolidge

Coolidge made a very memorable appearance in the tenth season of the show, the fake-British accent-having Amanda who annoys her former roommates (Phoebe and Monica). Coolidge called the role "intimidating," and that she was discouraged from improvising any of her lines. The bloopers are still amazing, though.

Paul Rudd

Technically this could fall in guest role instead of cameo—Rudd appeared in the last two seasons as Phoebe's love interest and husband-to-be Mike—but it was still a treat to occasionally get the goofy character in a few fun scenes. Rudd admitted he found the experience "strange" and "surreal," feeling like an outsider during the emotion-filled last episodes for the tight-knit cast.

Winona Ryder

Melissa Warburton, Rachel's sorority sister from season seven, plays a queer character who had a drunken makeout with Rachel in college. She initially denies it, but when Rachel kisses her again, she mistakenly believes they're destined to be together (Rachel then rejects her). In hindsight, it's cringey, especially since it was a network stunt that was called out immediately for being insensitive.

Reese Witherspoon

Witherspoon played Rachel's other sister—the "spoiled one" who briefly comes into the friend group in season six and goes on a date with Ross. There were rumors that Witherspoon and Aniston didn't get along, which seem to be mercifully false; the two have referenced their time together on the show before since becoming coworkers again on The Morning Show.

Julia Roberts

America's Sweetheart was a little less sweet in her cameo as Chandler's middle school classmate Susie Moss in season two, who gets revenge on him for flashing her in front of the whole school. Apparently she made Perry write a paper on quantum physics before she agreed to appear, and the two then briefly dated.

Brad Pitt

It's hard to top Aniston's then-husband coming onto the show in 2001 as Ross' friend and admitting to starting an "I Hate Rachel Green" club. Fun fact: Pitt was Emmy-nominated for the appearance, but he admitted to Access Hollywood that "I flubbed my first line…We had to stop and start again."

It seems as though every celebrity known to man has a beauty line at this point, including, unexpectedly, Brad Pitt, who launched the luxury skincare line Le Domaine last year. (Products range from a $275 facial serum to a $77 cleanser and all embrace the antioxidant power of grapes, inspired by his vineyard, Château Miraval, which he has been locked in a legal battle with ex-wife Angelina Jolie over.)

Pitt happens to have an ex-fiancée, Gwyneth Paltrow, who knows a little bit about being an actor-turned-entrepreneur, and also knows a little bit about beauty and skincare. In an interview with The New York Times to mark the fifteenth anniversary of her own lifestyle company Goop (well, empire, really), Paltrow disclosed that she’s tried Pitt’s Le Domaine and, per Page Six, called it “really beautiful.” 

Paltrow said Pitt—who she dated from 1994 to 1997 and starred alongside in the film Seven—sent her some of his products, and she approves: “It’s good,” she said of the line.

Pitt, for his part, told British Vogue in September 2022 that his products were inspired, in part, by Paltrow. “I love what Gwyneth’s done [with Goop],” he said. “She is still a really dear friend, and she has built this empire. She has always had that in her as a curator, and it’s been a lovely creative outlet for her.” 

Pitt developed Le Domaine with Marc Perrin after reading about the “health properties of grape skins,” he told British Vogue, and went on to integrate grapes into the line in every way, including its recycled wooden wine cask caps, Page Six reports. The line includes “potent properties from the seeds of Grenache grapes with the seeds and skin of Syrah and Mourvedre grapes,” British Vogue reports, including two exclusive anti-aging compounds.

This isn’t the first time of late that Paltrow has mentioned her ex. On a May episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Paltrow said that “Brad was like the sort of major chemistry, love of your life, kind [of hookup].” And, in a game of “F—, Marry, Kill,” Paltrow chose Brad for the “F—” portion—so there’s that.

Angelina Jolie is opening up in a new interview with Vogue, revealing in its November 2023 cover story that she didn’t feel like herself and felt down “for a decade” after her contentious and tumultuous split from Brad Pitt in 2016 after 12 years together—but that her experience as a mother was a lifeline.

“I was 26 when I became a mother,” said Jolie (who has six children). “My entire life changed. Having children saved me—and taught me to be in this world differently. I think, recently, I would’ve gone under in a much darker way had I not wanted to live for them. They’re better than me, because you want your children to be.”

Jolie continued that it is her hope that she serves as a “safe place” for her children, “but I’m also the one that they laugh at—and I see them taking over so many different aspects of our family,” she said.

Jolie—who is currently producing a Broadway musical—admitted she feels “a bit down these days,” and said she hasn’t felt like herself for a decade, though she didn’t delve into why. “We had a lot of healing to do,” she said. “We’re still finding our footing.”

Jolie appears on the cover of Vogue “in a striking white strapless gown adorned with pink spray paint, using the platform to promote her new fashion venture, Atelier Jolie,” Entertainment Tonight reports. Of the brand, Jolie said “I don’t want to be a big fashion designer. I want to build a house for other people to become that. I’m hoping to change many aspects of my life. And this is the forward-facing me.”

Atelier Jolie is more than just a fashion label, but also a platform to empower women to embrace their vulnerability: “I want a woman to feel safe enough that she can be soft,” Jolie said. “After I went through something where I was hurt, I had a therapist ask if I would try wearing a flowing garment. Sounds silly, but I assumed that pants and boots projected a ‘tougher’ look, a stronger me…Now I wonder if…I don’t know what my style is, because I’m still understanding who I am at 48.”

After meeting on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2005, Jolie and Pitt became one of Hollywood’s most famous couples, eventually marrying in 2014. Their marriage ended in 2016 “after an alleged altercation during a private flight with their children,” Entertainment Tonight reports. Pitt was accused of “choking and striking” their son, Maddox, although no charges were ever filed, and he denies the claims. Since their split, the two have been locked into a legal battle over custody of their children and ownership of a winery they once co-owned; in May 2021, they were granted joint custody, “but the decision was later overturned, leaving the matter unresolved to this day,” Entertainment Tonight reports.

After Beyoncé hired the late Kobe Bryant's daughter Natalia as an intern on her Renaissance World Tour, it's Angelina Jolie's turn to hire her own daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, 15, as her assistant on the upcoming Broadway production of The Outsiders, for which Angelina is serving as lead producer.

"Viv reminds me of my mother in that she isn’t focused on being the center of attention but in being a support to other creatives," Angelina said in a statement shared with Page Six.

"She’s very thoughtful and serious about theater and working hard to best understand how to contribute."

A source told Page Six that Vivienne "fell in love" with the show when she saw it with her mom in San Diego recently.

The source added, "Angelina has been taking her daughter Vivienne to the theater since she was a little girl. Angelina and Vivienne met with S.E. Hinton, who was around Vivienne’s age when she wrote the novel."

The Outsiders is based on the 1967 novel by S.E. Hinton, who is now 75 years old.

A second source told the outlet, "[Angelina] wants to ensure the team is listening and working with young people every step of the way, and that their voices are leading in bringing this production to life on Broadway."

Angelina shares six children with her ex-husband Brad Pitt: Maddox, 22, and Zahara, 18 (both of whom Angelina adopted prior to her relationship with Brad), Shiloh, 17, Pax, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne.

One of the most talked about weddings of the aughts decade was Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s 2000 wedding—if you would have told anyone then that the golden couple would be divorced before the decade was over, very few would have believed you. Michael Rapaport was a guest at the nuptials and opened up about the experience on last night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where he revealed that the pair had a “wall of caviar” at the event.

“I was at Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston’s wedding,” the actor said. “They had a wall of caviar. I still have some saved over.” He also called the wedding “beautiful,” and said the caviar wall was “generous” of the couple to give to their guests, per Page Six.

“How have you been on the show 87 times, and I’ve never talked to you about Aniston and Pitt’s wedding?” a stunned Cohen replied. Rapaport joked that Pitt and Aniston have “dropped it now,” though he’s “still eating the caviar” from their big day. “I was shoving it down!” he said.

Adding more details about the $1 million wedding, Rapaport said “Billy Preston performed—lot of bucks there,” before moving the conversation along.

Rapaport and Pitt first worked together as actors in 1993’s True Romance. Rapaport also guest starred on Aniston’s beloved Friends for a few episodes back in 1999. 

Of Pitt and Aniston’s wedding, in addition to an apparent wall of caviar, the couple married on July 29, 2000, in Malibu at a private estate filled with 50,000 roses, tulips, and other flowers in front of 200 guests, including Rapaport. Other A-list attendees included Aniston’s Friends costars Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox (and her then-husband David Arquette), and Lisa Kudrow; Pitt’s Fight Club costar Edward Norton and his then-girlfriend Salma Hayek; David Spade; Dermot Mulroney; and Cameron Diaz. Several bands and choirs performed—and Melissa Etheridge sang “Whole Lotta Love”—and there was a fireworks display.

“Unfortunately, the marriage didn’t last as long as Rapaport’s caviar, as Aniston and Pitt broke up five years later,” Page Six reports. Pitt went on to marry Mr. and Mrs. Smith costar Angelina Jolie, and Aniston married actor Justin Theroux; both of those subsequent marriages ended in divorce, as well.

Before Chris Martin and their eventual “conscious uncoupling,” Gwyneth Paltrow made headlines for her 1990s and very early 2000s romances with Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck. (Not shocking to see why, considering those three were—and still are—some of the most famous and gorgeous faces in the world.) Appearing on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Paltrow opened up about her love life during this era, saying of ex-fiancé Pitt that it was “major, major love at first sight” when they met on the set of the movie Seven, People reports. “It was crazy,” she said—and the couple went on to be together from 1994 to 1997, when they called off their engagement.

“One night we were on the balcony of this house we were renting in this little town in Argentina,” Paltrow said of Pitt’s proposal in December 1996. “I wish I remembered exactly what he said, but he proposed, it was fantastic, I was thrilled. We had talked about it, but I was surprised in the moment, I remember that. I must have been 24.”

Only six months after getting engaged, the Hollywood power couple called it off, with Paltrow revealing that she didn’t feel ready to get married. “I had a lot of development to do, looking back in hindsight,” she said. “In a lot of ways, I didn’t really fully start to come into myself until I was 40 years old. And I had such a pleasing issue. I didn’t really even understand how to listen to my instincts and act from that place for what was right for me. I was always trying to adjudicate what was right for everyone else.”

She continued “When I look back, I really was a kid, really more than most 22-, 24-year-olds I meet now. I really had not explored who I was, what was important to me, what my boundaries were.” Despite not feeling ready, Paltrow said she was “totally heartbroken when we broke up.”

“It was the right thing at that time, but it was really hard,” she said. “There were a number of things that had happened, he was nine years older than me so he was far more…he knew what he wanted, he was ready to do it, and I was kind of all over the place, so it was really one of those difficult things where I felt like ‘Oh my God, not only am I not ready, I’m not living up to the standards again.’ It was a familiar refrain I felt about myself.”

Pitt and Paltrow have remained close, she said, calling him a “great guy”: “He’s wonderful,” she said. “I really like him a lot.”

Later in the interview, host Alex Cooper brought up Ben Affleck, who was linked to Paltrow on and off from 1997 to 2000—even getting GP to indulge in a game of “Brad or Ben.” Who is more romantic? Pitt, apparently. Who was more likely to make you laugh? Affleck. Who are you more likely to get into an argument with? Affleck again, Paltrow said. Paltrow said both were “good kissers,” and, as to who was better in bed, Paltrow called the choice “really hard.”

“Brad was like the sort of major chemistry, love of your life, kind of, at the time, and then Ben was like, technically excellent,” she said. “I can’t believe my daughter is listening to this!”

I'll admit the World War Z actor doesn't usually make the cut for my top sources of fashion inspiration, but it's 2022, and anything is possible.

The celeb stepped out onto the red carpet in Berlin, Germany for a Bullet Train screening, and absolutely nailed the linen skirt suit look—an easy, breezy hot weather look that is, quite frankly, genderless.

Pitt paired a chocolate brown linen jacket and skirt with a dusty rose linen button-down, all by very exclusive designer Haans Nicholas Mott, who has designed all of Pitt's looks for the Bullet Train promo so far, according to Paper.

He paired the outfit with chunky, lace-up combat boots—showing off the slightly eerie tattoos on his calves—and accessorized with some horn-rimmed sunglasses and a chunky gold chain and pendant.

As Paper points out, this isn't the first time Pitt has rocked a skirt or two—though it does feel like the first time he has done it seriously, as a true fashion statement rather than just a bit of fun.

In 1999, he posed for Rolling Stone in a series of patterned, sequined, and otherwise glittery mini-dresses. The looks were branded as "outpitts," which, LOL.

As for Bullet Train, it's an action movie in which Pitt stars alongside Joey King, Sandra Bullock and Zazie Beetz. The flick comes out in theaters on August 5, a classic summer blockbuster if there ever was one.

You guys: In one of the most hilarious things to come out of 2020, several stars did a virtual live-read of Fast Times at Ridgemont High, with Pitt playing Brad and Aniston playing Linda. And they had to reenact Brad's fantasy sequence about Linda (with Morgan Freeman narrating, as a perfect chef's kiss touch). So they basically did a live-read of a very sexy scene. If you haven't seen it already, you owe it to yourself to watch the clip.

Throughout, Pitt gets noticeably redder and smiles sheepishly. Aniston, consummate professional that is, does her line-readings perfectly, then looks up and grins. The rest of the cast (including Julia Roberts, Matthew McConaughey, Henry Golding, and Shia LaBeouf) is visibly giggling in the background; At one point Jimmy Kimmel audibly starts laughing and makes no attempt to stop. Even though it's literally just acting, over Zoom no less, the chemistry between the two of them is palpable.

Later on, a source tells Us Weekly, “There’s nothing romantic going on between Brad and Jen and they actually think it’s hysterical that fans are so obsessed with them getting back together." So, womp womp.

Clearly the only option is to go look for yourself.

Some unverified rumors hit the interwebs: First, that the two apparently still have insane chemistry (duh) and that in the relationship between Pitt and Jolie, there was always tension around his previous relationship with Aniston—like, him holding onto keepsakes and love notes kind of tension. The two are (supposedly) bonding now that he's split from Jolie and he's "grateful" to have been forgiven. And, according to a source, they have chatted since Jolie alleged domestic violence against Pitt, with Aniston supportive and Pitt "devastated" by the latest developments in his divorce. Take all of this with a grain of salt, of course.

• According to a new report, Brad Pitt will spend Christmas Eve and at least part of Christmas Day with three of his children.
• Pitt's biological children, 14-year-old Shiloh and 11-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne, will spend some time with the actor over the holidays, a source told Us Weekly. 
• The source says Pitt and his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, had discussed celebrating the holidays together earlier this year, but that the tension between them has spiked again and they scrapped the plans for a joint celebration.

Brad Pitt will see at least three of his kids for Christmas this year, amid his ongoing custody battle with ex-wife Angelina Jolie.

The 57-year-old actor will see his biological children—14-year-old Shiloh and 11-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne—on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, a source told Us Weekly. 

"They can spend the night with him on Christmas Eve," the source explained, adding that Pitt and Jolie had talked about spending the holidays together as a family earlier this year when they were "getting along," but that those plans were scrapped and that the actors' "egos have once again derailed" the possibility of the Jolie-Pitt family reuniting to celebrate all together.

"Brad and Angelina are equally responsible for the never-ending drama. Sadly, their children are collateral damage, the insider said of the ongoing battle. "Relations between Brad and Angelina remain extremely tense."

Here's hoping that the tension in the Jolie-Pitt family subsides soon, for the sake of everyone involved.

Things have come to an end for Brad Pitt and Nicole Poturalski, according to Page Six. An insider told the site that the relationship ended "a while back" and is now "totally over," adding, "It was never all that serious as it was cracked up to be."

News that Pitt was dating German model Poturalski broke in August, though they were first spotted together back in November 2019. Their relationship sparked a little controversy in September, when Pitt took Poturalski to the French estate he shares with ex Angelina Jolie, Château Miraval. Pitt and Jolie got married at the castle in 2008— and Pitt visited with his new girlfriend on his former wedding anniversary.

An insider told Us Weekly at the time, "Taking Nicole to Miraval on their former wedding anniversary, Brad knows exactly what he is doing and the reaction it’s going to get from Angelina. He just doesn’t care if Angelina is going to lash out. He expects she will."

Poturalski was the target of internet hate throughout her relationship with Pitt, which she addressed on Instagram earlier this month. "Hey guys, I have been wondering since forever why people leave hateful comments?" she wrote. "Why? What is the benefit? Just in general, I want to understand the train of thoughts. The live table read of the cult 1982 movie, organized by Dane Cook, was initially intended to stream on August 21, as a fundraiser for Sean Penn's coronavirus relief nonprofit CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) and the criminal justice charity REFORM Alliance. Amidst all the craziness of the ongoing divorce battle between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, we have some new gossip that might shed some interesting light on the whole proceeding: Pitt, who along with Jolie was declared legally single, is dating someone new. And no, it's not Jennifer Aniston, although some fans will hold out for that relationship until the end of time. It's also not other women rumored to be in Pitt's life over the past couple of years, including Sienna Miller, Charlize Theron, and Alia Shawkat (Pitt is extremely private and hadn't confirmed anything about anyone he was seeing, although a source refuted the Theron rumors). Nope, Pitt's new love is 27-year-old model Nicole Poturalski, who hails from Poland and is a model splitting her time between California and Germany.

We just got an official sighting of the two, and outlets are confirming that the two are together. And Twitter has thoughts, but we'll get to that in a sec. What do we know about Poturalski so far?

Pitt and Poturalski may have been dating for nine months.

According to Us Weekly, the pair were just spotted getting off a plane and headed to Pitt's chateau property in the south of France (photos at that link, but they're very fuzzy). But Daily Mail found photos from the Hollywood Bowl way back in 2019, where the two are clearly flirting with each other—so, if that's the start of their relationship, they've been dating longer than any of us imagined.

In delightful news, Poturalski is on Instagram, but slightly less delightfully, it's not terribly revealing. It's mainly pictures of her modeling work:

She goes by Nico Mary in her professional career (I wonder if that's what Pitt calls her??). She apparently speaks five languages and is a mom to son Emil, about whom she will occasionally post (sources say this is her son here).

She has posted about Black Lives Matter, child trafficking, and gun control. According to the Daily Mail, she also founded an organization that's focused on protecting sharks; Apparently before becoming a model, she'd hoped to be a marine biologist.

She's been posting about a special someone since February.

In February she posted this VERY cryptic post about missing her "love," which, if the timeline is correct could totally be Pitt:

Even though they're reportedly "falling" for each other, the relationship is still staying very casual.

They're both dedicated parents.

Their casual attitude about the romance might have something to do with the fact that they're both parents and believe that their kids have to take top priority.

“They’re dedicated parents who fit in dating and other social engagements around their kids’ schedules,” the Us Weekly source explained.

Twitter had some thoughts about the new relationship.

It seems like a toss-up: Some fans thought she looked like Jolie, some thought she looked a little like Aniston, and others thought she looked like an exact mashup of Aniston AND Jolie (I actually totally can see that last one, actually—although I kinda see Irina Shayk and Jessica Biel in there too??).

The drama between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie continues—or, at least, the rumored drama does. The latest chapter involves Pitt's new girlfriend, German model Nicole Poturalski

Last month, Pitt took Poturalski with him on a trip that involved a stay at Chateau Miraval, the castle in France where he and Jolie tied the knot in August 2014. Pitt and Jolie purchased Miraval together in 2008 and, as of last fall, were reportedly still fighting over who would get the $67 million property in their divorce. To make matters even more popcorn-worthy, Pitt and Poturalski's trip coincided with his and Jolie's wedding anniversary.

"Taking Nicole to Miraval on their former wedding anniversary, Brad knows exactly what he is doing and the reaction it’s going to get from Angelina," a source told Us Weekly of the move at the time. "He just doesn’t care if Angelina is going to lash out. He expects she will."

Turns out, Pitt was right in assuming that Jolie wouldn't be thrilled with his very public romantic getaway to their wedding venue with his new love. According to The Mirror, she is "furious and utterly stunned Brad could stoop this low."

"It grosses her out that he’s cavorting around Europe so publicly with this girl, instead of keeping a private and dignified lid on his love life," the Mirror's source explained. "The fact he’s apparently taken them to her marital home is just beyond tacky and inappropriate, however Brad wants to cut it."

Pitt and Jolie also recently made headlines for their increasingly-contentious divorce proceedings.

• Last week, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce case stalled after Jolie requested the judge overseeing the case, Judge John W. Ouderkirk, be removed.
• Pitt hit back in new court documents, accusing Jolie of attempting to "delay the adjudication of long-pending custody issues in this case."

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's divorce proceedings hit a roadblock earlier this month, after Jolie requested the removal of the private judge overseeing the case, Judge John W. Ouderkirk, alleging that he did not disclose other cases he was working on with Pitt's attorney, Anne C. Kiley. Pitt's legal team subsequently hit back, as People reports, calling the removal request "a thinly-veiled attempt by Jolie to delay the adjudication of long-pending custody issues in this case."

In papers filed last Monday, according to the Associated Press, Jolie said that Ouderkirk, who also married the two actors in 2014, "failed to disclose the cases that demonstrated the current, ongoing, repeat-customer relationship between the judge and Respondent’s counsel." She further claimed "she was never afforded the opportunity to even raise a concern or to object to the ever-increasing business relationships between Judge Ouderkirk and [Pitt’s] counsel."

The following Thursday, Pitt's legal team filed documents stating that while "accepted additional new engagements involving opposing counsel," these engagements were "fully disclosed to Jolie." Pitt further argued that Jolie "has never objected to [Ouderkirk's] continued involvement in this proceeding until now." He further noted, as People reports, that Ouderkirk had disclosed previous occasions in which he worked with both Pitt and Jolie's lawyers, adding that Jolie and her counsel had requested to extend Ouderkirk's work on the divorce case on three occasions.

"Unfortunately, the individuals hurt most by Jolie's transparently tactical gambit are the parties' own children, who continue to be deprived of a final resolution to these custody issues," Pitt's lawyers wrote in the court filing.

In a statement given to People, Jolie's lawyer Samantha Bley DeJean said the filing was "an attempt to obstruct or influence Judge Ouderkirk's answer, adding, "Any delay in these proceedings is due to their zealous attempt to create an unrecognized special exception for their client's benefit."

In response, an anonymous source described as "close to Pitt" told the magazine, "This is the Judge who married them, someone who her team knew well and who her team actually introduced to the couple. Her lawyers have also worked with him, so the only excuse for their filing is that her team knew they were likely to lose and they needed to stall by changing the referee in the fourth quarter."

Jolie further alleges that Kiley, Pitt's attorney, "actively advocated for Judge Ouderkirk’s financial interests in moving—over the opposing party’s opposition—to have his appointment (and his ability to continue to receive fees) extended in a high profile case."

"As is set forth in the filing, all my client is asking for is a fair trial based on facts, with no special favors extended to either side,” Jolie’s attorney Samantha Bley DeJean, told AP. "The only way litigants can trust the process is for everyone involved to ensure that there is transparency and impartiality."

Neither Judge Ouderkirk nor Pitt's attorneys, Kiley and Lance Spiegel, responded to AP's request for comment.

It's a big deal when celebrity couples get divorced (witness: the collective pain of America when Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux announced their split). Not only are we heartbroken to see our favorite duos part ways, but things also tend to get messy when it comes to money, especially if there's no prenuptial agreement. Thus, leading to big drama, multiple lawyers, and a cashout so big, my heart skips a little thinking about what I would do if I ever came into contact with that much money.

Unlike normal couples, when two big names come together in holy matrimony, things can get pretty out of hand if the marriage doesn't end with a happily ever after. Dealing with major assets like houses, planes, children, and uh...dogs can sometimes get pretty chaotic and cost a whole lot of dough.

After meeting on the set of Rum Diary in 2011, the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony four years later. The once co-stars announced their split after only 15 months of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.

Just days after the initial filing, she filed a restraining order against the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, which included allegations of domestic abuse. The order was later dropped, and in the end, Heard donated her entire $7 million settlement from Depp to the American Civil Liberties Union.

"No matter what was decided when they stayed together after her affair, nothing could erase that betrayal," a source close to the family told PEOPLE. "It was time to move on, even though they had a solid family relationship and really wanted to save it."

Settlement: $13 million

The Monty Python star and his wife were divorced in 2009, and reportedly Cleese’s wife became richer than him after he handed her $19.7 million and $13 million in assets including a New York apartment, a home in London, and a beach house in Santa Barbara.

Settlement: $14 million

In 2002, Lopez filed for divorce from her husband of less than a year. She wound up paying him $14 million for nine months of matrimony. Ironically, the couple met on the set of Lopez’s music video “Love Don’t Cost a Thing.”

Settlement: $14 million

Armstrong and Richard met in 1997 when he was battling testicular cancer. She quit her job and moved with him to France, where he went on the win the Tour de France five times during their marriage.

They were divorced in 2003, and Richard said in an interview, “Before I got divorced, I was personally unfamiliar with trial, or at least trial of serious, heart-wrenching proportions. I figured that life went smoothly if you tried hard, and if you messed up, or things weren't working out, you just tried harder.”

The Daytona 500 winner married Sealey in 1994, one year after they met. Eight years later, they were divorced, and Sealey received $15 million from the separation.

The pair met when he was a defensive end for the New York Giants, and she worked at a spa in the city. "I figured either he was the cleanest man on the planet or he wanted to ask me out," said Muggli per Page Six.

They married in 1999 but announced they were splitting in 2006. Together they have two daughters, at the time, the court ordered the Good Morning America host to pay $18k/month in child support.

Settlement: $20 million

The pair married in October 1998 after meeting on a blind date. Two years after Lauer was fired from NBC for the numerous sexual assault allegations that came forward against him, Roque officially filed for divorce in July 2019. They have three children together.

This wasn't the first time she wanted to divorce the former Today host. She had previously filed for divorce in 2006 accusing Lauer of "cruel and inhumane acts," according to Entertainment Tonight. They later reconciled. 

Settlement: $20 million

Current president Donald Trump has been married twice before Melania. His first marriage to Ivana Trump ended in 1992 following rumors of his affair with Marla Maples (who he ended up marrying a year later). They had three kids together—Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Ivanka Trump.

Settlement: $20 million

When Riche and his fashion designer wife called it quits in 2003, she reportedly asked in her alimony petition for a clothing and plastic surgery allowance from the singer. The end results came out to be roughly $20 million.

They married secretly in 1972, but publicly divorced 13 years later. Carson was one of the highest paid TV personalities at the time, so Holland walked away from the marriage with $20 million.

The businessman met his fourth wife Barkin at an Oscars after-party, and they were married in 2000. Six years later they were separated and the official settlement has not been revealed—though it was reported that Barkin sold all her jewelry from him and made at least $20 million.

The Rolling Stones singer and supermodel were married in 1990 (after 13 years together) in Indonesia. But nine years later, news broke that Jagger had fathered a child with a Brazilian model, Luciana Morad, and Hall filed for divorce. She later married Rupert Murdoch (also in the gallery)—though she wasn’t the woman he married 17 days after his divorce from Anna Mann.

Settlement: $26 million

Scurtis filed for divorce from the Yankees slugger in 2008 after being together for six years. According to People, she asked to keep their $12 million mansion in Florida and for a cut of his $28 million earnings that season.

The official settlement documents have yet to be released, though we can assume if she kept the house, and took half of his earnings, she would have walked away with $26 million. Regardless, she got a lot of money from their settlement.

Settlement: $30 million

After reports of the professional wrestler’s affairs with Christiane Plante, Linda filed for divorce. In an interview with Us Weekly, she said, “You have single handedly ruined our 25-year marriage and our family...my trust, my love, my future, our future family with grandchildren, holidays, weddings, our kids' lives, homes, their ability to trust, our poor animals, friends, neighbors, your career, finances, trademarks, retirement, your legacy, your reputation, your health...even your soul. You lost it all.”

Settlement: $30 million

The Cheers star and Coates were married before his claim to fame. Danson left his first wife for Whoopi Goldberg (surprising, but true) in 1992, and wound up paying Coates $30 million.

Settlement: $45 million

The Oscar award-winning actor married Luker, an Australian diplomat’s daughter, when she was just 19 years old. Luker filed for divorce in 1995 and received a settlement of $45 million—half of Douglas’ net worth.

Settlement: $47 million

Things didn't quite work out in Collins' third marriage to Cevey. After six years of marriage and two children, the two called it quits. The singer also had to pay his ex-wife, Jill Tavelman a high settlement of $34 million during their divorce.

Settlement: $47.5 million

The country singer married her manager and former steel guitar player, Narvel Blackstock, in 1989. They announced they were splitting in 2015 after 26 years of marriage together—the couple shares one son, Shelby Blackstock, together.

The divorce wasn't her idea. "It was really hard to make the adjustment when someone's not happy," she said in an interview with CMT. "I just want everybody to be happy in their lives because our lives are too short to be miserable…I just thought it was the best thing to take my marbles and go play somewhere else, is what daddy used to always say."

Settlement: $49 million

Four short years after being married, McCartney and Mills split in 2006. In addition to the $48.7 million Mills took from the divorce, McCartney also had to pay her an extra $70,000 a month for their daughter Beatrice.

Cameron and Hamilton worked together in Hollywood. They first met on the set of Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Rumors of an affair between the Titanic director and an actress from the movie led Hamilton to file for divorce. Cameron, who'd made $100 million for Titanic, gave her half his earnings.

Settlement: $30 million

When they divorced, the stars split their valued assets in the marriage evenly, each taking home $30 million. The Real Housewives star filed for divorce in 2010, after 13 years of marriage.

Settlement: $60 million

The country singer isn’t a stranger to divorce—in fact, he’s gone through the entire process five times. However, the most expensive separation was with his fourth wife, Gordon. Rogers gave up $60 million after their relationship ended in 1993.

Settlement: Reportedly $50-70 million 

After seven years of marriage, the couple called announced they were separating in 2012. They have three children together.

"While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate," the couple told PEOPLE. "We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition."

Heidi filed for divorce in April 2012. TMZ reported The Making the Cut host split from Seal, claiming he had an out-of-control temper that scared her and the kids.

Settlement: Between $76 million and $92 million

Their multi-million dollar settlement came in 2008, when the singer and film director decided to divorce after being married for just under eight years. Ritchie claims being with her was like being in a soap opera, while Madonna said the split was due to a loss of heat in their relationship.

“Then time goes by, and you share a life, you have children, and there are cracks in the veneer. It’s not as romantic as it used to be,” she said.

Settlement: $80 million

After 16 years of marriage, the two called it quits reportedly because Costner had wandering eyes. Silva didn’t approve of the “sexy roles” he was taking and gave him a ultimatum.

“I’ve either got to quit doing them or quit the movie business,” he told a close friend. He picked movies, and the two were divorced in 1994.

Settlement: Between $85 million and $118 million

The actor and screenwriter first met on the set of Apocalypse Now in 1979, and we married four years later. The couple separated in 2000 when it was reported that Harrison had been seeing a younger woman.

“We have been living apart for the past month," the couple said in a joint statement. "We sincerely hope that we can work out our differences." It didn’t work out, and they were divorced in 2004.

Settlement: Reportedly $90 million

The singer began dating Konecki in 2011, and they married in a secret ceremony five years later. The singer didn't confirm their marriage until 2017 during an acceptance speech, "Grammys, I appreciate it. The Academy, I love you. My manager, my husband, and my son—you're the only reason I do it."

They announced they were splitting in April 2019 and were in the final stages of completing their divorce nearly a year later. A Los Angeles court granted Adele's request to keep everything a top-secret, so the exact settlement number isn't public knowledge.

The Sun reported the couple didn't sign a prenuptial agreement, so Konecki may have received up to half of Adele's fortune. According to People, Adele is worth an estimated $182 million.

Settlement: $100 million

Pitt and Jolie are still not yet divorced after separating in September 2016. He reportedly offered her a $100 million settlement, but nothing has been finalized.

The couple filed for divorce in 1994, but a California judge refused to accept their prenuptial agreement that would give Irving $100 million because it was scribbled on a napkin.

Brooks and Mahl were college sweethearts when they got married in 1986. The couple split in 1999, but the divorce wasn't finalized until two years later in 2001.

Settlement: $150 million

The singer’s $300 million earnings were reportedly split between Diamond and Murphey in 1995 when their divorce went through. They had been married for 25 years, and Diamond blamed himself for the split.

"I assume a lot of responsibility for what went wrong, but I was taken aback by how many friends dropped me," he told People. It was never confirmed how much Murphey took from the divorce, but Diamond said she had enough to live off of.

Settlement: $168 million

The Chicago Bulls star married Vancoy during his second season in 1989. There was rumor in 2002 that the two would split, but they decided to work through things.

Their relationship survived for four more years until they officially made the decision to divorce in 2006. You could say they left on good terms, as they reportedly attended their son’s basketball game together right after their divorce was finalized.

Settlement: $425 million

After being married for 31 years, the two decided to split after Mel was arrested for drinking and driving. Robyn married Mel before his career took off, and they reportedly had to divide $850 million worth of assets. They have seven children together.

Settlement: $1.7 billion

The Australian media mogul’s divorce from Mann was hailed as one of the most expensive divorces ever—and things only got messier after the split. Murdoch married another woman 17 days after his divorce was finalized. Of the $1.7 billion he paid Mann, $110 million of it was a direct cash payment.

Settlement: $38 billion

The Amazon CEO and his wife split after 25 years of marriage. The couple met before the business even started, and were married after six months of dating. They have four children together. Her settlement landed her No.4 spot for women on the Forbes billionaires list.

My point is, like the rest of us, Pitt's estranged from his hair stylist while in quarantine, and perhaps unlike the rest of us, his hair has grown naturally into a chic '90s look. Pitt, you'll note from the photo above, has been sporting chin-length hair for a while, but in quarantine he's no longer slicking it back, wearing it in a style that's somewhere between '90s curtains and a '00s bob. I am jealous and annoyed. Observe!

Pitt made the above video to celebrate the graduating seniors at Missouri State University, which is located in his hometown of Springfield. "Brad here from quarantine with a shout-out to the graduating class of Missouri State University. Yeah! It must be very strange doing this in these trying times, but know we're rooting for you," he says in the clip.

Tonight, Brad Pitt—man, myth, long-haired Hollywood legend—won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. In his speech, Pitt (who's had some practice with acceptance speeches this season, thanks to his wins at the Golden Globes, SAGs, and BAFTAs in the last few weeks) took the opportunity to make some jokes, thank the people he worked with, take some political jabs, and, in a touching moment, give a shoutout to his children.

"This is for my kids. They color everything I do. I adore you," Pitt said as raised his Oscar trophy and then made his way off the stage. Pitt has six children that he shares with his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie: three biological children, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox, as well as three adopted children, Maddox, Zahara, and Pax.

Pitt has reportedly had a complicated relationship with at least some of his children. According to US Weekly, following an altercation between the two in 2016, "Maddox doesn’t really see himself as Brad’s son." The outlet reports that Maddox is much closer to his mother. Based on the sentiments expressed during his speech, however, it seems Pitt's children remain an important part of his life.

Pitt's friend and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood costar Leonardo DiCaprio also got a shoutout during the actor's speech. "Leo, I'll ride on your coattails any day. The view's fantastic," Pitt quipped. Which...hard to disagree with that. Frankly, I'm here for the Leo + Brad love story we never knew we needed (just kidding, we knew).

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt exploded all of our hearts when they reunited at the SAG Awards and had the exact same chemistry as when they were married lovebirds. Turns out they have something else in common—they've been recently styled by the same two people. (Yes, I know I'm being corny about all this. Yes, I love them so much. No, I won't apologize.)

According to The Hollywood Reporter,

"The duo [stylists Nina and Clare Hallworth] recently showed off their collaborations with Pitt on the just-released Brioni campaign as well as images of him wearing the Italian luxury menswear line at film festivals in Cannes and Venice, as styled by the pair, dating back to May 2019. The posts are peppered in between dozens of shots of Aniston, their longtime client and close friend."

The stylists, who go by Nina & Clare on Instagram, shared posts of Aniston and Pitt literally one after the other (see below). Of course, Pitt's look was for Cannes, and Aniston's from SAG—if they'd literally been styled by the same people on the same night, people would lose it. When reached out for comment, they only confirmed their work with Pitt on the Brioni campaign, but then again, they're not about to dish a bunch of details about two high-profile clients, are they? In my mind, it's one of the things that Aniston and Pitt text about. They totally text, right??

Another stylist explained that there would have to be a good relationship between Pitt and Aniston in order for Nina & Clare to work with them both (bear in mind, this person may not know the exact situation, but still). "It's not a cat fight. It's people who are not competing in any way, shape or form. Out of respect, I am sure they got approval. And out of respect for them, I am sure she gave it!"

Jennifer Aniston has nothing but love for Brad Pitt. Okay, not love love—but platonic love. While Pitt was cracking jokes during his 2020 SAG Awards acceptance speech (Pitt won for best supporting actor in a film), the camera panned to Jen laughing and smiling at her ex when he said, describing his Once Upon a Time in Hollywood role, "It was a difficult part: A guy who gets high, takes his shirt off, and doesn't get on with his wife."

While the camera didn't show Jen's reaction when Brad made a Tinder joke in his opening lines (he stated that he should add this win to his Tinder profile!), she had an epic slow clap moment when he made the reference to his relationship status.

Aniston had similar feelings during the 2020 Golden Globes a couple weeks ago. When Pitt quipped during his acceptance speech (the man is on a roll!), "I wanted to bring my mom [to the Globes] but I couldn’t because any woman I stand next to they say I’m dating," the camera caught Aniston smiling. On the red carpet ahead of the award ceremony, Pitt described Aniston as "really good friend," assuring the interviewee that he was sure he'd run into his ex-wife at some point.

Tonight, the moment every Brad Pitt-Jennifer Aniston evangelist has been waiting for finally happened: They. Touched. It's true! They actually TOUCHED. And there is real, photographic evidence!

This evening, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston once again found themselves in the same room thanks to the Screen Actors Guild Awards. And, just like at the Golden Globes earlier this month, Aniston was captured on camera reacting to Pitt joking about his love life during an acceptance speech ("It was a difficult part: A guy who gets high, takes his shirt off, and doesn't get on with his wife," he joked about his Once Upon A Time in Hollywood character).

But, unlike the Globes, the SAGs gave us Pure Magic. Jennifer Aniston won a SAG for her role in Morning Show (yay, Jen!), mere minutes after Brad left the stage with his own trophy. That put him backstage as she delivered her acceptance speech, and cameras caught him pausing to watch his ex-wife's big moment, a grin on his speech (my heart), but more importantly, the timing meant the stars aligned and gave us the gift of an actual, physical, IRL run-in with photographers present. It was a true MOMENT and twitter felt many things:

All of it is perfection. While Jen + Brad Believers might think this is evidence of something, a source told US Weekly last month: "Brad and Jen have a wonderful connection that might seem flirtatious at times. They dig each other’s sense of humor and have an infectious energy when they’re together, but they insist things are purely platonic and nothing more than that."

Brad Pitt took home the SAG Award for best male actor in a supporting role on Sunday night, deadpanning: "I got to add this to my Tinder profile." Pitt turned his acceptance speech into a comedy short, joking about everything from his costars' feet to his marital status. In a sweet moment exclusively captured by E! News, Brad Pitt watched his ex-wife and "good friend" Jennifer Aniston accept her award for The Morning Show from backstage at the SAG Awards. In the video, you can't see much of Pitt's face, but you can see him watching the speech with what appears to be a smile on his face—am I reading too much into this? Maybe!—while standing close to the monitor.

Cue laughter, and Jennifer Aniston applauding and smiling.

Oh, you guys. In another nod to "good friends"—truly the theme of this SAG Awards—Aniston gave a shout-out to her longtime friend and costar two times over, Reese Witherspoon, who worked with Aniston in both Friends and The Morning Show. "I love you, girl," she called out to Witherspoon.

• In spite of their divorce, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are continuing to work together on wines through their French winery, Chateau Miraval.
• According to People's sources, the couple sees the winery as an investment in their children's futures. 
• Their newest wine is a rosé champagne

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie aren't letting their divorce get in the way of their joint business ventures.

The former couple still own French winery Chateau Miraval together, and along with their partner, Marc Perrin, they're releasing a new wine.

The project "has been in development for three or four years. Miraval is all about the art of making rosé and this champagne—which is made in the Champagne district—is a cooperation, combining Provencal knowledge with champagne making," according to a source who spoke to People about the venture.

Pitt and Jolie released their last wine together in 2019 through Miraval and, according to People, sources close to the former couple, they see the business as "an investment for their children."

Speaking to Wine Spectator, Perrin offered details about the new wine.

"We are working very hard with [one of the leading champagne producers] Rodolphe Péters," Perrin said of the new rosé champagne, adding that they "will create the only Champagne house which only makes rosé. We are going to try to push the quality of rosé as far as possible in Champagne."

Sunday's Golden Globes sparked a renewed interest in Brad Pitt's personal life—although, as one of the most heavily documented men in the world, that interest never really went away. It turns out Pitt has a pretty great sense of humor about both his private life and the unrelenting media interest in it: During an appearance on the podcast WTF with Marc Maron, alongside Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood co-star Leonardo DiCaprio, he called his personal life a "disaster." Tell us what you really think, Brad!

For a bit of context: As People reports, host Maron asked Pitt and DiCaprio when they knew they'd become really, really famous. For DiCaprio, the realization struck after the release of "a film called Titanic" (yes, we know of it, Leo), when he spotted four black SUVs following him. (It doesn't happen so much these days, DiCaprio added.)

Pitt jokingly told his co-star, "I’m a little disgruntled with you,” adding, “I’m just like, trash mag fodder. I don’t know…because of my disaster of a personal life, probably." Don't be so hard on yourself, Brad!

A little snippet of said personal life was on display at the Golden Globes—namely, his relationship with ex Jennifer Aniston, who he called a "good friend" in an interview. • When asked about the current state of his relationship with the former Friends star, Pitt said she's a "really good friend." 
• Later that night, after the show, Pitt and Aniston attended the same Golden Globes afterparty, where witnesses described them as friendly.

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are good terms—very good terms, in fact. At Sunday night's Golden Globe Awards, Pitt walked the red carpet, where he was asked about the current state of his relationship with his ex-wife. During the interview, Pitt confirmed that things between him and Aniston are cool, describing her as a "really good friend."

Although the exes (who are both currently single again) didn't interact at the award ceremony, they did attend the same CAA afterparty later that night at Sunset Tower in Los Angeles.

"They said hello very quickly," a source told E News! of Pitt and Aniston's interactions at the afterparty. "Jen arrived after Brad. It was brief, but [they] were very cordial and friendly and seemed happy to be there. They approached each other once they saw each other inside and looked happy as they started to hug and say hello. Jen whispered something to Brad, but it wasn't in an affectionate way. They both didn't seem like they wanted to make a big deal about being together in the same room although it was a private party. They were trying to be low-key. Brad left shortly after and didn't stay at the party long."

"Jen was in a great mood," the source added. "She seemed so happy to be out and mingling."

Many fans have been not-so-secretly shipping the couple again since they both became single again. Aniston and her second husband, Justin Theroux, separated in 2017 after two years of marriage and Pitt split from longtime partner Angelina Jolie in 2016 (their divorce became final last year, in 2019).
