While the colorful, pop art-influenced motif, inspired by Californian landscapes, is the most standout detail of the Birkin, its dimensions (19.75 inches wide and 17 inches tall) are equally impressive.

Last October, Chanel's Maxi Flap Bag made its runway debut alongside cap-toe pumps. Now, the classic carry-all can't stop elevating summer shoe trends like heeled flip-flops and soft loafers. On June 29, Chanel's It bag took one of fashion's most divisive designs under its calfskin leather wing: Kaia Gerber's Ugg boots reached ballet flat levels of luxe with her Maxi Flap.

Six weeks after Chanel's best-seller joined Gerber's collection, the two are still very much in the honeymoon phase. Translation: She's still styling the Chanel bag everywhere, including a Monday morning spa session in Beverly Hills. Gerber was spotted post-facial in a cropped black cardigan, matching easy pants, and the top-flap tote fashion girls could ID from a mile away.

She carried the same $9,300, burgundy Maxi Flap in Kendall Jenner's closet, beloved for its slim shoulder straps, bottomless rectangular body, and minimalist branding. The French label's interlocking "C" clasp came in yellow gold, just like the original Spring 2026 style. Gerber's Chanel bag and Ugg boots have more in common than you might think. For instance, her Classic Micro Boots seem to be as brand-new as her Maxi Flap. She styled the low-profile, sheepskin-lined pair in the "Chestnut" color on the Oct. 2025 set of The Shards. These soft suede shoes, however, seem to be a few shades lighter than their $150 predecessors. The model's "Sand" color is also a bit more wallet-friendly, retailing for $139.95 right now.

At this point, Gerber's Uggs collection is nearing its fifth birthday. Contrary to fellow Ugg girls, Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa, and Jennifer Lawrence, she skipped right past calf-length Classic Short II boots in favor of shorter shafts. Pairing under-$200 Uggs with buzzy designer bags has always been a Kaia Gerber Classic. In 2021, not one, not two, but three different Celine purses were spotted on L.A. strolls with her cropped, pull-tab Ugg boots.

I have one motto for this summer and one motto only: "When I’m outside, it’s lip gloss and vibes." Of course, this means that only the best of the best formulas will be in my tiny purse this summer, and it’s like Chanel heard my cries and decided to release (or, in this case, re-release) one of my favorite new makeup products just in time: The Rouge Coco Hydra Gloss, a new iteration of its famous lip formula that is replacing the previous version, the Rouge Coco Gloss Moisturizing Glossimers.

As with all iconic beauty product reformulations, I was pretty skeptical about the change at first, because in my eyes, the previous formula was pretty much perfect. But Chanel Beauty has officially made me eat my words, and you heard it here first: I adore this new iteration.

While the previous version had a lot of tackiness, I found it wasn't as shiny as some of my thicker formulas, like M.A.C.’s lipglass. This meant I had to reapply quite often to get the shine I was looking for. Still, that was never a problem for me, because who doesn’t want to take out their absolutely adorable Chanel lip gloss and have a main-character moment at the function? Exactly. Still, this new formula takes my love of this lip gloss to new heights, and if you were also skeptical about this reformulation, don't worry: you’re about to love this new version, too.

​I get into the specifics of this new formula ahead, and if the forthcoming holiday weekend has activated the shoppies for you, I also recommend a few additional Chanel Beauty products that I simply can’t stop obsessing over.

The Formula

As is to be expected from a gloss, the formula is viscous and imparts a latex-like shine on the lips. There are 18 shades to choose from, ranging from milky pinks to deep reds, and even a few unexpected colors like the jade-green hue Éclectique. It’s a solid offering that’s perfect for the everyday makeup enthusiast and professional artists alike, so anyone should be able to find their new go-to color.

There appear to be two finishes in the line—one that’s glittery and the other that’s more of a subtle shimmer. My only gripe with the line is that the colors in the former category, while they provide a glassy, mirror-like shine, feel a tiny bit gritty on the lips. It’s not to the point where it feels like I just put on a lip scrub, and it’s not so disruptive that I don't want to use the formula. However, it is noticeable enough for me to be cognizant of it, so if you’re also one of those people who have slight sensory issues as I do, I highly recommend testing these glosses in person before purchasing.

The Ingredients

This formula boasts what Chanel calls the Hydra-Peptide Complex, which, according to the ingredient list, appears to be a combination of various oils and waxes. You’ll find hibiscus and camellia seed oil, both of which are extremely moisturizing and reinforce the lip’s moisture barrier. These glosses also contain sunflower seed and rice wax, both of which lock in moisture without added weight and help boost the gloss's shine. Top this off with additional ingredients like C10-30 cholesterol/lanosterol and jojoba esters, which soften the lips and act as an emollient, respectively, and you have a recipe for one of the shiniest, lightweight lip gloss formulas on the market.

The Application

The application is as flawless as it’s always been. There’s a doe-foot applicator that helps dispense the product onto the lips with ease, and its slight divet ensures it hugs each lip perfectly. It also dispenses the perfect amount of product with each swipe, as even when I build up the layers of gloss that I have on, I just get more shine, never too much excess product to the point where it feels sticky or goopy on my mouth.

The Takeaway

We can all take a big sigh of relief that one of the best high-end glosses on the market is still as good as we all remember it being (dare I say that it’s even better?). The shine these provide is light-years ahead of the previous formula, and while some shades were discontinued (Rose Naif, you have my heart), the replacements are practically the same, so there are really no gaps in the color range. It’s a relaunch that has earned my stamp of approval. But while you’re shopping the new line, it doesn't hurt to stock up on a few more of my favorites from the brand below, right?

When it's time to refresh my beachwear wardrobe, I'm not just perusing the bikini department. I'm also in the market for cool-girl cover-ups to match the biggest swimsuit trends. Chanel loaned stylist Tara Swennen and Stewart Look 69: an off-the-shoulder, little black sweater dress stacked over matching shorts. Red, black, and ivory stripes decorated the neckline, cuffs, and mini skirt in true French Riviera form.

From there, her bottoms mirrored the skintight silhouette of biker shorts. Don't miss the intricate, ribbed texture that connected the multicolor two-piece. The Twilight star's black, croc-embossed belt didn't just cinch her waist. Its interlocked Cs confirmed—to all untrained eyes—that she was indeed decked out in Chanel.

Like most of her Blazy-era Chanel looks, Stewart shifted the original runway set ever so slightly—first, by stretching the neckline below her shoulder. Then, the statement belt transformed from stark white to black. The actor accessorized with monogrammed, wired sunglasses.

She also opted out of a handbag, even the Chanel Maxi Flap that's sweeping the It girl nation. The croc, top-handle trunk seen during the April 2026 show stayed behind, too. For her finishing touch, Stewart swapped cap-toe flats for black, Chanel-branded loafers.

Trading shoe trends is one of her favorite ways to Stewart-ify an outfit from the French fashion house. She did the same at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, switching the runway model's stilettos for black-and-white Nike Oxford sneakers.

So far, only a select few fashion girls have gotten the chance to wear Chanel's Cruise 2027 collection. Before Stewart, Marion Cotillard walked the Cannes Film Festival red carpet in the line's leather dress; Camila Morrone styled a semi-sheer slip at the Tribeca Artists Film Festival dinner; and Penélope Cruz pulled off a Canadian tuxedo last weekend in L.A.

79 pieces—spanning from knit rompers and '20s-inspired swimwear to raffia totes and mermaid dresses—promised Chanel girls' closets no shortage of summer styles. The collection offers so much swimsuit cover-up potential, too. It won't reach boutiques for a few months, but the curated edit below gives major Chanel Cruise energy, if I do say so myself.

Dua Lipa's second wedding celebration—which took place in the Sicilian capital of Palermo—was an undeniably glamorous affair. To wed actor Callum Turner, Lipa wore a custom Chanel wedding gown created specifically for the bride by the fashion house's creative director, Matthieu Blazy.

The "Levitating" singer was an early proponent of Blazy's Chanel designs, and her couture wedding gown marks the creative director's first major wedding dress creation. Notably, the halter wedding gown was adorned with 480,000 beads and jewels, which took Lesage 1,155 hours to embroider, via @stylenotcom. Additionally, Lemarié provided an incredible 25,000 feathers to embellish the gown.

Lipa's wedding gown—which included a long two-meter train—was handcrafted at Chanel's flagship headquarters at 31 Rue Cambon in Paris. The singer's delicately embroidered wedding veil measured in at six meters, and was prominently featured in her Instagram post regarding her nuptials.

Finally, the singer's white satin wedding pumps were custom-made by bespoke shoemaker Massaro Paris for Chanel. Lipa is styled by Lorenzo Posocco.

Prior to heading to Italy, Lipa and Turner tied the knot in a private civil ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London on Sunday, May 31, 2026. For her low-key nuptials, the pop star donned a custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture outfit, designed by Daniel Roseberry, which included a blush bustier.

She's always relied on this specific wide-leg silhouette at A-list fashion affairs, including the Barbour x Tuckernuck launch party last fall, and the American Image Awards in April 2026. This pair stood out for its chocolate brown, almost burgundy belt from Chanel's Spring 2026 collection.

Next, the Dawson's Creek alum Chanel-ified the plain pants with one of the label's leading house codes: cap-toe pumps. 90-percent of the four-figure heels were shade-matched to Holmes's tank top. Then, an itty-bitty sliver of stark white shined atop each almond-shaped toe box. Despite debuting on the Spring 2026 runway late last year, the spherical shoulder style remains somewhat underrated by fashion girls. Chanel collectors like Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, and Margot Robbie went straight for the Maxi Flap Bag instead. But now, with Holmes's endorsement and small bag season in full swing, perhaps the Bowling Bag will finally get its flowers.

Katie Holmes has been a Chanel girl for almost two decades, but she's really shining under Matthieu Blazy's reign. Last weekend, she traded her trusty button-downs again for a short-sleeve sweater top. Much like her latest Chanel look, Holmes tucked its ribbed hemline into black jeans. At Chanel's second showing of its latest Métiers d'Art collection, held at Seoul's Centre Pompidou Hanwha, front row guests and online commentators expected to obsess over details like a sequin appliqué on a Chanel Maxi Flap bag or silk that perfectly mimicked a pair of faded jeans. By the show's end, all anyone could talk about was a gesture.

As model Sora Choi lapped the museum in a flapper-inspired white dress, the same Chanel look recently worn by Marie Claire cover star Ashley Graham—and two-strap sandal heels, her hands rose to cradle her midsection—universal shorthand for "I'm pregnant." Shortly after, her mid-runway pregnancy reveal lit up industry accounts like @hautelemode. General observers around the world were all awed by Mom's graceful announcement and Baby's future closet. "Baby's first Chanel!" the comments screamed. For me, a fashion editor who frequently reports on runway size inclusivity and a first-time expecting mother myself, there was much more to Chanel casting a pregnant model than a very chic baby on board.

Bodies beyond a sample size are increasingly rare on fashion's most prestigious runways. At the Fall 2026 fashion shows, non-straight size casting hit an all-time low. In this world, women who are pregnant might as well not exist. Inclusivity stats tabulated by Vogue Business each season don't include pregnancy because it's flat-out not included in high-fashion casting. Maternity clothes, at Paris or Milan Fashion Week? It's too groundbreaking for most labels to fathom. Never mind that expecting moms, like every other demographic within womanhood, could be a potential customer for the label. And, models have just as much freedom to become mothers as any other woman working in fashion.

When women who are expecting do turn up at a glossy fashion show, it's often a one-off. Someone with a big name makes a reveal, like Jasmine Tookes' at the 2025 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, without another casting to follow it up.

The first major exception to the rule takes shape at Copenhagen Fashion Week's primarily women-led calendar, where I've observed moms-to-be walking the runways each season alongside models of varied body types and physical abilities. (Inclusive casting is written into the event's requirements, unlike other markets.) And now, there's a second exception: Chanel.

Choi, it turns out, isn't the first model to display a changing pregnancy body on a Chanel runway this spring. In late April, Kaya Wilkins modeled Chanel's Cruise 2027 collection with her bouclé jacket fully unbuttoned, highlighting her five-month bump beneath a black bralette. At the time, she told Vogue her child was "the world's youngest runway model." And, more tellingly, that the Chanel team had sought out a mom-to-be to spotlight its latest collection: "Matthieu [Blazy] and Anita [Bitton], the casting director, were looking for someone pregnant, so I was quite lucky to have a little bump on me," she said.

Wilkins and Choi's back-to-back castings are part of a broader expansion of who gets to be a Chanel woman, both on and off the runway. Since joining the house almost one year ago, creative director Matthieu Blazy has emphasized castings that break away from the predominantly young, white, and thin mold that defines the industry overall. Mature models in their 50s and 60s, like Stephanie Cavalli, appeared in the Fall 2026 and Haute Couture runways. Bhavitha Mandava, an NYU Masters student, was plucked off a subway platform to open the 2026 Métiers d'Art show—the first Indian model to do so. (Chanel did not reply to a request for comment elaborating on their recent castings; this story will be updated if they do.)

Cotillard did just that at the Roma Elastica premiere, with help from Chanel and stylist Eliott Bliss. Creative director Matthieu Blazy made the sleeveless, boatneck style just opaque enough around her bust and bottom, that way she was less likely to get stopped before ascending those iconic Cannes stairs.

Then, the intricately-crocheted design turned transparent, similar to Hadid's Schiaparelli skirt. Perhaps each woven, spider web-esque diamond—and the texture they added to her silhouette—is precisely how Cotillard got away with it. The dress's hypnotizing pattern stretched from its double-lined lingerie, beyond the semi-sheer skirt, and onto a fringed, full-coverage train. It was so opaque, the French actress's pointy satin pumps were barely visible.

To finish, Cotillard added elongated, back-button diamond earrings from Chanel's circa-2024 Haute Joaillerie Sport collection. She became a brand ambassador back in Feb. 2020, so it's no surprise she earned access to the archives.

Cotillard rarely comes to Cannes unless her luggage is overflowing with Chanel. She's been flaunting the atelier's designs all around the French Riviera since 2018. Over the years, a black-and-white jumpsuit, a metallic peplum maxi dress, and a sequin-scalloped gown have secured her spots on various best-dressed lists.

2026 has been another Chanel-heavy Cannes for the red carpet regular. It seems fashion girls have sampled every food-related color trend in the garden before taking it method. Gigi Hadid and Katie Holmes have worn tomato red, but where's their tomato-shaped Loewe bag? On April 29, Sarah Pidgeon finally got my memo: She traded strawberry-colored shoes for celebrity-beloved Chanel heels that feature berry-punctured stilettos.

Neither Pidgeon's pumps or Flap Bag are available on the wider market right now. That's not to say they aren't making the VIP rounds already. Last February, Hailey Bieber brought the strawberry heels to a Rhode event in Australia. Her black-and-white pair complemented the simplicity of her cardigan skirt set, while adding a Blazy-era whiff of whimsy. It's worth noting the extra-long shirt looks luxe with jeans, too. Last October, Nicole Kidman attended the Chanel spring show in the same button-down and straight-leg denim. A few months later, Jessie Buckley wore it just as Blazy intended: over a twill maxi skirt and cap-toe pumps.

To finish, Edebiri embraced its blank canvas charm by draping a tomato-red boa around her elbows. Perhaps Erlanger sent a "what is she wearing text" to Anne Hathaway's stylist, Erin Walsh, because the co-stars walked the red carpet in the same color palette—Hathaway in a a strapless, black, red, and white Valentino Haute Couture dress, featuring peplum ruffles atop the column skirt. (The Interstellar actor chose the Valentino equivalent of Chanel cap-toe heels: the famous Rockstud stilettos in white with yellow gold studs.)

It's been a minute since we've seen Streep in Chanel. Back in 2017, then-creative director Karl Lagerfeld accused her of turning down a custom couture gown for the Oscars, because another designer would compensate her—which a representative for Streep told The Hollywood Reporter wasn't true. (Chanel also followed up with THR: "When informed by the stylist that Ms. Streep had chosen a dress by another designer, there was no mention of the reason. Chanel wishes to express our continued and deep respect for Ms. Streep.”)

Carolyn Chang couldn’t leave Paris without them. “They were exactly what I’ve been looking for: young, unique, and fun-looking ballet flats,” the New York City-based fashion creator says. “A forever statement piece.”

The flats in question were Chanel’s multi-animal-print pony-hair pair from Matthieu Blazy’s Spring 2026 debut collection. The only problem: every editor, It girl, merchandiser, and stylist in town for Paris Fashion Week last month seemed to have the same idea. Chang went to buy the leopard-and Bambi-speckled shoes at the 31 Rue Cambon flagship between runway shows, but “it was a zoo—people were running around like crazy.” She compared the scene less to a luxury shopping experience than to The Purge. According to The New York Times, a woman even grabbed Chanel’s cap-toe pony-hair flats off another woman’s feet.

A sales associate broke the news: it would be well over an hour before Chang could even begin shopping. She made an appointment for the following day and successfully walked out with the $1,425 ballet flats sending hundreds of fashion girls into PHP (pony-hair psychosis) and straight into credit card debt.

The fervor for Chanel’s pony hair ​flats only intensified when the Spring 2026 lineup hit stores in New York City a few weeks later. Fashion content creator Sophie Cohen, who “couldn't stop thinking about the pony hair flats after seeing them at PFW,” waited in line for over an hour just to get inside the Madison Ave location. Upon entering, a Chanel sales associate told her they’d already sold out. “Luckily, a friend I had made in line happened to be trying them on, and they didn't fit her, so she passed them off to me,” says Cohen. “I got one of the last pairs.”

Not all fashion girls have been as fortunate in securing Chanel’s pony-hair flats. (The leather is derived from cow or goat hide, not actual ponies, by the way.) Those who struck out in-store, or who don’t live near one of the select Chanel boutiques carrying the Spring 2026 collection, are turning to luxury fashion sourcers to do the treasure hunting for them.

Gab Waller tells Marie Claire that, over her eight years in sourcing, “Chanel’s pony-hair ballet flats have become one of her most requested styles to date, across all brands and categories.”

London-based personal shopper Tara Mouzannar is receiving around 50 requests a day for the Chanel shoe. “What’s striking is the urgency clients are showing,” says Mouzannar, whose Instagram, @sourcedbytara, is flooded with desperate DMs and follow-ups about the pony-hair flats. “There’s a scarcity, a moment, around the shoes. It’s not about having the logo; it’s about having the item itself. That’s when you know something has genuinely captured the zeitgeist.”

Erica Wright, founder of the fashion sourcing platform Sourcewhere, identifies Blazy himself as a key force behind the ballet flat’s boom. “Requests are coming in steadily across different regions, which suggests this isn’t isolated hype but a broader, sustained response to the collection,” says Wright, who started receiving requests for Chanel’s pony-hair flats “within hours” of the Spring 2026 collection landing in stores. “That first chapter [for a brand under a new designer] always carries a level of significance, particularly for clients who closely follow shifts in creative direction.” Some archivists would argue that $1,425 is a fair price to pay for a piece of fashion history.

But Chanel’s flats becoming the most coveted shoe in the world is about more than just the fashion hype machine. The mixed-print design also aligns with where the market is trending—toward fashion that’s fun and even a little freaky. “What Blazy’s done with the pony-hair ballet flat is create something that’s simultaneously special and classic,” explains Mouzannar. “Clients are moving away from basic monogrammed pieces now. They want texture, pattern, something with personality—items that feel crafted and considered rather than just logo-driven.”

Plus, pony hai, which has steadily risen in popularity in recent seasons, still has “lasting appeal,” Wright adds. “It brings texture and depth to a silhouette that is otherwise very classic, creating something that feels elevated without being overly directional.” In other words, it reads as timeless rather than explicitly trendy.

The eclectic, textured ballet flat is especially appealing to shoppers who didn’t always resonate with the Chanel woman Blazy’s predecessor, Virginie Viard, had in mind. During Viard’s tenure, the fashion house skewed prim and proper, with collections populated by modest cuts and easily recognizable brand signatures: sweet camellia motifs, tweed skirt suits, and LBDs. Chanel’s cap-toe ballet flats were typically rendered in black and tan, with a pastel pink here and there.

Now comes Blazy, with his joyful, explosive mix of print, color, and texture. “This new era of Chanel feels unfamiliar and new, which is what I think makes it so iconic already,” says Chang. “It feels like there’s new life in a heritage luxury brand that had been playing it safe for so long.” Younger consumers who never saw themselves as Viard’s demure Chanel lady suddenly like the idea of a life clad in double Cs and No. 5. The pony-hair flats aren’t just fun for the season; they become an investment in a future wardrobe.

That is, if you can get your hands on a pair. Availability at select Chanel boutiques remains scarce, and while luxury sourcers are magicians in many ways, they can’t make the shoes appear out of thin air. But Cohen did leave Chanel’s Madison Avenue store with a hot tip: “For the girlies still trying to find them, I did hear there might be a restock in the New York SoHo store soon…”

Think: a knee-high boot, some sort of jacket, and pants that are either fitted or a straight-up pair of jodhpurs, the barrel-leg, specialized trousers for horse riding. A nice styling trick I’ve discovered is that slightly baggy trousers look like a jodhpur when tucked into boots. Do I personally own jodhpurs? As a horse girl exclusively in spirit, of course I do.

I love taking the idea black and white with a wider trouser and a more fitted jacket. A burgundy leather glove lends a nice bit of color and veritas.

I’m going full Jane Austen equestrian in this sweeping black velvet coat by Sanoe, which feels modern with light colored boots. I also think having your hair down is a nice horse-girl element.

“I support women's rights and wrongs” has become the internet's favorite catchphrase for Industry’s Harper Stern, played by Myha'la.

For three seasons, viewers have watched the Black American, twenty-something financial trader at the core of the HBO series muscle her way through a world run by wealthy, white British men. Like all great anti-heroes, she’s complex and walks the line between morally ambiguous (faking a college degree, breaking girl code) and illegal (copious drug use, insider trading). She’s a scrappy, self-made, capitalist shark in a poly-blend blazer and business slacks—or, rather, she was. Now, she wears custom suits and Cartier.

We first see Harper in Industry season 4 power-walking into her office in a three-piece skirt suit; the thigh-high slit, boxy shape, and a draped neckline feel more aligned with Paris Fashion Week runways than London’s financial district. A stiff wool trench sits on her shoulders. She wears Saint Laurent stilettos on her feet and carries a chain-link Chanel 2.55 bag in her hand.

“Harper’s look at the beginning of the season needed to have gravity,” says Laura K. Smith, Industry’s costume designer. “She’s dangerous and has a different agency now. In that first scene, I wanted that Chanel bag to mirror the wrecking ball Harper is: She swings it on its chain the same way she swings her intellect through the financial district and her world.”

In that sharp-shoulder suit designed by Smith and custom-made on Savile Row, brandishing a designer handbag like a weapon, Harper is at her peak. “She’s spent a long time as an outsider in London, her face pressed up against the glass like The Little Match Girl," says Smith. "But she’s on the inside now, officially a fully paid-up adult, the person in the room who makes the call."

This season, Harper links up with her former Pierpoint boss, Eric Tao (Ken Leung) to co-run a short-only fund at an asset-management company. Naturally, her wardrobe needed to reflect her new, bigger bank account.

Harper’s style evolution also stems from studying people in the upper echelon, both those born into it and her fellow interlopers.

“I thought a lot about inheritance this season—what's the information that's been passed down to you, and how do you wear it?," Smith says. "Eric is Harper’s mentor, and he only wears suits on the trading floor. Harper has never worn high heels because she hasn't had the license or the luxury to do so, but she's seen Yasmin (Marisa Abela) wear them and taken note. Now, Harper understands there’s cachet in a bag, a great watch, and a pair of shoes. She gets that certain garments are signifiers and buy you passports into spaces.”

Throughout the season, you’ll see a Cartier Tank Must (“Yasmin’s Cartier Tank Louis would’ve inspired her,” per Smith) and a Tag Heuer Date Link on Harper’s wrist. You'll also clock her in vintage YSL and Alaïa blazers when she’s out causing chaos in public, or Nili Lotan barrel jeans and kinky garter-clip tops from Fleur du Mal when she’s scheming from the shadows in her office. Each piece reflects Harper’s overall arc of the season: She’s in the know now.

“So much of Industry’s narrative is breathing reality into an idea until it becomes physical,” Smith says. “There's a similar feedback loop when you choose certain clothing: Are you a powerful person because you wear that garment, or does the garment make you powerful? I imagined Harper in Selfridges—rather, having a personal stylist bring her things—and picking pieces that say, I'm in control.”

Beefed-up power shoulders were another motif Smith used to signal Harper’s ascension. “In the time of Elizabeth I and Henry VIII, that triangular silhouette of a massive shoulder and smaller waist was specifically designed to command power,” she says.

We see Harper wear the very same bespoke skirt suit from the premiere again in episode 6, when she hijacks the stage at the Web Horizon Conference and exposes Tender’s fraud publicly. She's a pulled-herself-up-by-her-bootstraps pragmatist, so an outfit repeat makes sense.

“Harper has experienced what it's like to have no money,” Smith says. "These investment funds live on a knife’s edge and can easily blow up. You need clothing that can last in case you need to reinvent yourself."

Mostly, the suit call-back was symbolic, referencing Martin Bell, a member of the British Parliament in the ‘90s who was known for wearing white suits. “[Bell] was elected on the basis of hunting down sleaze and wrongdoing," Smith says. "Harper sees her fund as one that shorts and roots out bad companies. Giving her a silhouette that makes her undeniable, a uniform that commands visibility, was important.”

Despite Harper’s newfound affinity for designer labels and custom wardrobing, this is still the same character we love to hate and hate to love. In episode one, dressed in a peaked-shoulder blazer dress and Roger Vivier leather thigh-high boots, we watch Harper shred a birthday card from her estranged mother and then mock a client into having a stroke.

But Industry’s fourth season also presents Harper at her most raw and vulnerable. Episode 5 starts with Harper learning of her estranged mother’s death. She initially takes her grief out on Eric—“You think if you leave your girls some money, they’re going to love you,” she snaps—only to eventually soften and confide in her co-founder and mentor. Fittingly, she’s wearing a simple black V-neck cardigan and ultra-baggy carpenter jeans in the most tender scene we’ve seen from the two. It’s a more well-rounded, human version of Harper.

Like her wardrobe, the emotionally troubled woman has grown. After all, depth and interiority are the two key components that make all the best anti-heroes so compelling.

“I really, really love Harper,” Smith says, with a soft smile. “Yes, she does some scurrilous things, but she always has her reasons. The things that people praise in men, they disparage in her; she’s exceptional in her field, both reading and creating the financial weather around her. She works in ways people don’t understand, and we haven't ever had a woman like Harper represented on screen. It’s really fun to watch—and it’s a lot of fun to dress her."

As all the best villains do, Harper now has a signature, legible look. Tony Soprano had his bowling shirts and bathrobes. Don Draper has his penguin suits. And Harper Stern has her power shoulder blazers and knife stilettos.

Dua Lipa and fiancé Callum Turner had an unusual Valentine's Day date in 2026. On February 14, the adorable couple posed together on the red carpet at Berlinale—the Berlin International Film Festival—to promote Turner's forthcoming movie, Rosebud Pruning. For the star-studded occasion, the "Houdini" singer wore a Chanel naked dress, which she paired with a rare Bulgari Serpenti necklace.

Turner stars alongside Elle Fanning, Pamela Anderson, and Riley Keough in Rosebud Pruning. To help launch the film, Lipa wore a custom Chanel crochet naked dress, with a bateau neckline. And, yes, the sheer dress subtly referenced the exposed thong trend.

The "Levitating" performer accessorized her Chanel dress with $945 Christian Louboutin "So Kate" 120mm Pumps in Black Patent Leather.

The rare black diamond necklace, from the fashion house's Serpenti collection, features two serpent heads meeting in the center. Although it's unknown how much Lipa's exact necklace is worth, it might be valued at hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Meanwhile, Turner wore head-to-toe Louis Vuitton, including a brown single breasted twill wool jacket and matching pants, which he paired with a baby blue shirt, a silk tie, and LV Sierra Derby shoes.

As Valentine's Day dates go, Lipa and Turner's red carpet appearance was probably more glamorous than most. It was also clear that the engaged couple only has eyes for one another.

Not many fashion girls can say they wore Valentino, Gucci by Tom Ford, custom Saint Laurent, and vintage John Galliano on a business trip, but Hailey Bieber can. On February 13, the Rhode founder outdid herself again, first in fresh-off-the-runway Chanel, then 20-year-old Versace.

The internet's favorite beauty brand brought Bieber to Australia this week. (After four years of fame, Rhode is finally available to shop down under.) Even so, she wasn't all work and no play. A naked dress-wearing Bieber scored an invite to the final Wuthering Heights premiere on Feb. 12, before resuming Rhode promo the next morning.

Her Thursday began with an interview at Vogue's Forces of Fashion event, dressed in two-month-old Chanel. The Matthieu Blazy-led label loaned stylist Dani Michelle Look 64 from the Chanel Métiers d'Art Spring 2026 show: a tweed, three-tone jacket made to look like burnt paper. The matching pencil skirt traded places with light-wash Chanel cigarette jeans. Even her cap-toe pumps—punctured with strawberries on each stiletto—debuted in last December's Chanel Métiers d'Art line.

A few hours later, Vogue Australia hosted Bieber again, this time at the 2026 Summer Ball inside the Sydney Opera House. Michelle sourced Raffe Vintage's celebrity-beloved stock for a 20-year-old Versace gown seen on the Spring 2006 Men's runway.

The sleeveless, plunging slip directly opposed Bieber's previous claim that butter yellow is "played out." As seen on the runway model, nude illusion lace served as the bust's blank canvas behind built-in embroidery. Horizontal strands of rhinestones decorated the chiffon bodice, before extending onto hip cutouts.

Two contrasting fabrics converged atop her drop-waist, including a high-low outer layer made of satin. A thigh-high slit down the center revealed the tiered ruffles below, without breaking the butter yellow color story. To finish, Bieber went necklace-free in favor of pear-shaped, diamond drop earrings. Who needs a pendant when your dress already presents one?

If you haven't gathered by now, Rhode isn't "just" a beauty brand. Its success has given Bieber countless opportunities to serve a look, in campaigns and brand events alike. This week alone, she proved no runway show is out of reach for the skincare-turned-lifestyle label, even if she's simply stopping by a Sephora storefront. Bieber's next launch—and corresponding press looks—can't come soon enough.

I took up embroidery this fall, completely by accident. But it has quickly become an almost-daily practice—a ritual of sorts, and most definitely a reset. A longing for texture in a flattened world—a desire to remember that beauty doesn’t have to be fast, flawless, or endlessly shareable.

On February 3, newly-minted Marie Claire cover star Sarah Pidgeon saw her name in lights at the New York City premiere of FX's Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette. But make no mistake: The actress's Chanel dress-over-pants set ensured she wouldn't be seen as her minimalist character.

Almost a year after executive producer Ryan Murphy cast her as Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, the Calvin Klein sales associate-turned-wife to John F. Kennedy Jr., Pidgeon arrived at Carnegie Hall in a look far removed from her on-screen character's famously understated wardrobe. Stylist Emma Jade Morrison hit the press tour running with Look 77 from the two-month-old Chanel Métiers d'Art Spring 2026 line (which Pidgeon saw from the front row).

As Chanel's brand ambassador, the actor has an all-access pass to creative director Matthieu Blazy's catalog. This time, she chose an elongated, feather-trimmed tunic over pleated black trousers. At first glance, the top's diamond-shaped embroidery seemed to be the bow-embellished bodice of a floor-length dress. One fell swoop to her pants' pocket revealed it as a 1920s-inspired vest instead, featuring mint green feathers from hip to hem.

Sarah Pidgeon could walk down the street with Marie Claire's Halie LeSavage without being recognized last November, but now, she's days away from being a household name. Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette, her buzziest project to date, releases on Hulu come Feb. 12. With the TV series top of mind, Pidgeon wasted no time curating a level of sartorial prowess to rival her counterpart on last year's red carpets. But when she veered minimalist, she did so her way.

Vanity Fair's Young Hollywood Party in March proved she was a fashion girl to watch. She channeled '90s minimalism in a satin halter-neck dress, courtesy of Christopher John Rogers. It appeared just as glossy as the little black dress worn by Pidgeon while filming Love Story last September.

As far as American icons go, Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy is as beloved as it gets: a fact Pidgeon has understood—and integrated into her characterization—since day one. "I don’t think it was super-shocking that people were invested in Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy and had strong opinions on what we were doing," Pidgeon revealed in Marie Claire's Winter 2026 issue, in response to Love Story criticism while still on set. "But it was a real opportunity to understand what it might have been like for her, and that’s always helpful.”

When building her Carolyn, the source material was scarce. But Pidgeon didn't feel limited by the lack of footage. "What was so exciting in taking on this role was this freedom I had in learning about this person and then creating this character,” she added.

Pidgeon went method in the most respectful of ways: First by adding what made Carolyn, Carolyn into her closet, then by trying pieces that feel undeniably her. She'll undeniably remain intentional throughout the entire promo trail, before Love Story hits FX and Hulu next week.

What comes to mind when you recall Margot Robbie's Barbie press tour? For me, it's her looks beyond the red carpet: Each barely-photographed pick, posted on Instagram, helped define what made Robbie's Barbie, Barbie. Now, while promoting Wuthering Heights, her Cathy-coded after-party attire is following the same formula. See Robbie's corseted little black dress on February 2 for proof.

Paris, her press tour's current stop, greatly influenced Monday's romantic wardrobe. It all started with the most luscious velvet ballgown, courtesy of Chanel's Matthieu Blazy. Once photographers captured every angle of its curtain-like drapery at the Wuthering Heights premiere, Robbie slipped into something more comfortable, but equally method. Stylist Andrew Mukamal pulled a corset mini dress from Robbie's press tour rack, which could've been the base layer beneath her bespoke Chanel gown.

The off-the-shoulder mini boasted various lingerie-inspired elements you might see in Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights. For instance, black floral lace along the cap sleeves, bustier, and pleated peplum. Monochrome lacing crisscrossed down the bodice's center, beyond the peplum waist, and onto the dress's thigh-grazing skirt.

Earlier in the evening, Robbie accessorized her Chanel ballgown with a custom, 100-carat diamond choker, courtesy of Lorraine Schwartz Jewelry. Perhaps its velvet garnish inspired her second necklace of the night: a slightly wider black choker.

Jessica McCormack—the British jeweler behind Zendaya's engagement ring—frosted it with pear and circle-shaped diamonds, featuring her signature button-back setting. Dakota Johnson, Jennifer Lawrence, and Zoë Kravitz adore the blackened trademark, too. It reappeared on Robbie's heart-shaped, diamond drop earrings, also from McCormack. They were custom, of course, but similar styles would set you back $630,000.

Vivienne Westwood's sky-high, patent leather Court Pumps suggested Robbie's LBD also hailed from the mind of creative director Andreas Kronthaler. However, as of pub time, the designer had yet to come forward.

The Wuthering Heights after parties are already ones for the look book. Last week, after the L.A. premiere, Robbie traded her Schiaparelli trumpet gown for a vintage Roberto Cavalli corset dress, circa-Fall 2004. What's more, Mukamal tracked down a matching Manolo Blahnik handbag, embroidered with lookalike red and gold brocade seen on her 22-year-old mini.

It wasn't a question of if Chanel would play a part in Margot Robbie's Wuthering Heights press tour, but when. On February 2, the actress finally brought gothic, Victorian-era glamour to the film's Paris premiere, dressed in a custom Chanel ballgown from the mind of Matthieu Blazy.

Mere hours after styling Hailey Bieber at the 2026 Grammys, Andrew Mukamal reunited with Robbie inside Le Grand Rex, a few miles north of the last week's Chanel Couture Spring 2026 show at the Grand Palais. The Barbie duo couldn't make it to Blazy's debut couture show, because the Wuthering Heights L.A. premiere was hours away. Tonight, they made up for it in spades.

The bespoke burgundy ballgown marked Robbie's first time wearing custom Chanel by the house's new creative director on any red carpet. It was just as voluminous as it was sculptured, beginning with a flattering, U-shaped neckline along the bone-in corset. From there, Robbie's silhouette tripled in width, due to layers of white woven faille stacked on top of silk velvet. Blazy draped the luscious velvet like a curtain across her underskirt's pleated white petticoat. The ruby red garnish dangled asymmetrically, before cascading into Robbie's longest train yet.

Just when you thought Robbie's Chanel couldn't get any more opulent, she flaunted the bustled back. Blazy's take on the padded undergarment was a bit ahead of its time: Bustles didn't become popular until the late 19th century, while Emily Brönte published Wuthering Heights in 1847. However, as proven by Cathy's latex gown in the film, historical accuracy isn't the driving force of Emerald Fennell's adaptation. So, Blazy can dress Robbie in all the ludicrously capacious bustles he wants.

Its silk velvet flared up and out from the Oscar nominee's cinched waist, trailing a few feet behind her with each step. Feathers atop silk petals—decreasing in density from the bustle to the rounded hem—added even more visual interest to the never-ending train.

The ballgown might make you want to step back and stare, like admiring a painting in the Louvre. But don't let Robbie's accessories slip under your radar. A matching red velvet choker—featuring 100 carats of champagne diamonds from Lorraine Schwartz Jewelry—peeked out beneath the Barbie star's effortlessly undone waves.

The oversize, east-west pendant at the choker's center was the scene stealer, mainly for its champagne oval stone and its bordering circular diamonds. A single pear-shaped stone—similar to the one on her ring finger—popped against her décolletage.

As a longtime A-line dress advocate, Robbie has yet to walk a red carpet in a ballgown this spacious. The closest design in size was her custom Schiaparelli trumpet dress at the L.A. Wuthering Heights premiere on Jan. 29.

The Best New Artist category at the 2026 Grammy Awards is stacked with up-and-coming stars, including Addison Rae, KATSEYE, Olivia Dean, and more. The latter singer, however, isn't so much "new" as she is finally getting her flowers. See her black-and-white Chanel gown on the red carpet. Does Dean look like a newbie to you?

Dean's fans have left comments like "you can tell her stylist loves her" on her performance look pics for months, but Simone Beyene's adoration was clear on Sunday inside L.A.'s Crypto.com Arena. First-time nominee Dean arrived in custom Chanel crafted just for her by creative director Matthieu Blazy. Every element—from the sequin bodice to the ballgown-like skirt—was just as romantic as her Grammy-nominated album, The Art of Loving. Classic Chanel by Blazy feathers around her drop waist (seen in all three of his runway shows) married the black top and white pleated skirt. What started as a high-low hem flared into a bustled train, which Dean flaunted during her step-and-repeat.

Sure, Dean isn't a Grammy regular (yet), but she's been preparing for this moment since her debut album, Messy, in 2023. She and Beyene crafted her signature aesthetic—think romantic, '70s-inspired London girl glamour—at only a handful of award shows over the years. 2025, however, was when the Olivia Dean Look finally stuck.

She scored an invite to the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards last November, not just to walk the red carpet, but perform, too. Before surprising fellow guests Jennifer Lawrence, Teyana Taylor, and Rihanna with an acoustic rendition of "So Easy (To Fall In Love)," she posed for photographers in a custom Thom Browne shift dress.

Butter yellow, cummerbund-inspired satin strips stretched from the strapless, straight-across necklace, beyond a lace-up corset, to the severe floor-grazing hem. Cartier diamonds elevated Dean's red-carpet look to five-figure status (if her bespoke Thom Browne didn't put it there first).

Two weeks later, Dean returned to the red carpet, this time for Australia's 2025 ARIA Awards. Her custom Robert Quinn ballgown had a certain vintage-y charm to it, thanks to the oversize rosette-topped bow, the drop-waist bodice, and the high-low, bubble-hemmed skirt. Dean's accessories—though understated—leaned into the dress's nostalgia. She traded a necklace for four-figure best-sellers from Cartier's circa-1969 Love collection.

Once it came time to perform "Man I Need," Dean took center stage at the ARIAs not in the Adele-ish gown, but a fringed gold dress straight out of the '70s. Flat metallic sequins added movement to the spaghetti-strap Rachel Gilbert mini, before three tiers of beaded fringe decorated the thigh-length hem. It complemented Dean's same Cartier jewelry seen on the red carpet.
